After years of wrestling with an unstructured messenger bag, I switched back to this more briefcase-y style. I like it! I've used it to carry my laptop, books and file folders as well as various smaller paperwork, charger cords and such in the front pocket. Everything stays organized and easy to access. Even loaded with lots of stuff, it keeps a slim profile. The shoulder strap makes carrying it easy—as does the light weight of the case itself. It's comfortable to carry too, even loaded. I like the look too—professional without taking itself too seriously. I one small peeve, expressed by others here, is that the handles are a bit large and stubbornly stiff, wanting to stand up. I would prefer it if they flopped down more at the side of the bag. But this is a minor issue—I'm glad I bought it.

My son is getting ready for middle school and all work is now done on a laptop. He was required to have a computer bag, separate from his backpack. I wanted something that was nice looking and that would be durable. I am very happy with this purchase. It looks so nice, I was almost tempted to keep it for myself! plenty of room. Easily fits a 15" laptop or smaller, but be careful, some of the higher performance laptops are 15.6" and it fits but is a really tight squeeze.
