I have used these boots in torrential rain, as well as in the snow and on ice, and I am pleased with them. They definitely run at least a half size big, and since they only come in whole sizes, I would order down. I was initially skeptical of the tread but it proved to be surprisingly effective, even on snow. The boots were easy to get on and off aided by the large handles on the side and a bit of a ridge above the heel. The large handles, however, do reduce the effective height of the boot to keep out moisture. Overall, a good rain-boot for the price.

I typically wear a shoe size 10 EEE U.S. My calf size is big at 17.5" at the widest part. I purchased the 10 D and these boots fit a little large on my foot with average thickness of socks. At the calf they are too tight to comfortably get my pants tucked in easily. This is not a ding on the boots, but you should be aware of these facts before ordering. The boot quality appears top notch. The seams are joined securely and there were no signs of shoddy assembly. The tread design is also good in that they clean up easy even with the stickiest red clay. All in all I love the boots but will have to pass them to someone with smaller (read normal) calves. I wish they would have fit.

So, this was a Healthy choice, made of EVA and other Greatest thing was its was ALL waterproof(EVA ? ) till the end(calf) unlike my son's shoe thats a stupid design. BUT we have NEVER seen such SIZE problem!! My husband's size is 9. Sometimes he wears 9.5 so I ordered 9 and 10. BOTH were HUGE, huge means REALLY Huge !! NOT just 1 size up! Cuz that still would have been perfect. I returned both and ordered size 8 cuz ppl say too big. And size 8 was too tight ! Seriously?! NONE of the sizes fit! I am very very upset !! The size is completely Non-Sense so my husband has no shoe to wear. Not just that the size 9 came all stained. some oil spilled on it. even on the wrapping paper and they just sent us like that. LOVED that its Healthy Material, PLS fix the size Problem Bogs !!

Thanks to Zappos customers, took the advice and ordered smaller size for my nephew and they're perfect! The shoes arrived before WA got some snow so he enjoyed being able to put them on himself and his feet stayed dry and warm. Yes there are cheaper boots but for quality, these are exceptional and should last through all the wet weather here until summer. Money well spent.

I normally wear 8.5 but because these don’t come in half sizes I ordered size 9. These 9s fit well, and can accommodate my thick winter socks as well as crew socks. I live in Seattle so I fully expect to use them a lot. The best thing are the handles that make getting them on and off easy.

I purchased the Bogs Rain Boots for my twelve year old son. They are well made, true to size and a good value. I have purchased Bogs Rain Boots in the past and have always found them to be high quality and hold up well. The hand grips are built into the boot rather than “glued” onto the top which helps maintain the integrity of the boot. I plan to purchase another pair when he outgrows his current pair.

This boot is great for my young teen whether it be in the rain or for playing in creeks, etc. great fit and coverage and still lightweight.We will continue to buy this style :-)

These boots are a great value. They look great and are of excellent quality. You can't beat the price. I like the protrusion on the back that allows for easily kicking off each boot. I highly recommend. I usually wear size 10.5, but I ordered a size 10 in these, and they fit very well.

These seem like good sturdy rain boots but the fit is a little sloppy. Wish the leg was a little tighter

Nicely made boot. Materials don't feel cheap. It's a bit stiff though. I don't think these would be good for all-day use.

Love that this new version has a removable insole, I have arthritis and my feet are pretty sensitive, inserting full length orthotics in these is super easy. I also have a wider calf, but not wide enough for plus size styles. The little extra bit of width/give these provide is perfect. My last pair of Amanda's lasted a super long time, I think at least 10 years. They are still waterproof, but the lining was ripped and worn and they started to look rough. I wear around the city, do a lot of wading in the salt water, beach walking, muddy trails etc. They are the only boots I wear.
