They look spectacular and are super comfy, but are not as hard-wearing as the more traditional brands. For the first time ever, the sole of my three-year-old shoe came unstuck and no amount of glue would fix it. Make the golf shoes more robust, please!

So today I just ordered what I believe to be my 8th or 9th pair of the McGuffey Plain Toe, so I feel immensely qualified to comment. First the negative. . . Clearly I like them a lot, aside from 3 issues in the past. 1) One pair was inexplicably cut tight in the outside toe area and my pinky toes suffered through a lengthy break-in period (I've always ordered 9. 5 M). I managed to survive. 2) On two occasions, the laces were so short that tying them securely was nearly impossible. This is exacerbated by the fact that the style of lace on this shoe seems to find its way loose too easily. The positive. . . It is a super attractive and comfortable shoe that I consider reasonably durable (and I'm pretty tough on shoes). Lastly, the look has a good range, in that it can handle both casual and more formal wear very well. Versatile is perhaps a good descriptor for the McGuffey. Strongly recommend. Good value.

These are the second pair I have bought. These shoes are great you can dress them up or down. They are super comfortable all day long.

I have been buying these shoes for years, as if the last year I have noticed different materials, fit and overall quality for the same price.

When it come to comfy work shoes for me I have to go with Johnson and Murphy every time. Great Job.

Sole started to come apart after wearing them 2 times. Cheaply made and not worth the money.

These shoes are great quality! My husband loves them for work. But they run 1/2 size big.

Shoes look nice and is a good shade of tan. They also seem to be well made. They are true to size but it's a little bit of a struggle getting your foot in the shoe bc the opening is held closed from the high friction of the leather with the laces.

My husband bought a blue pair and when compared to all his other shoes for comfort (he used to think the others were comfortable), they were off the scale. . . so much that he had me order another in blue (for when these wear out he's wearing them so much) and a brown pair.

I got the shoes for my husband as one of his Christmas gift. I love the blue color with some brown accent, will look great with casual or dress pants, blue, brown, beige & white colors. So far my husband wore the shoes once and approved it is comfortable!

I ordered these shoes pretty last minute for a Christmas present and I was worried they wouldnt get here in time. They shipped SO FAST. I got them the weekend before Christmas and they are just perfect! My husband loves them!
