I'm a 6 1/2 and I ordened a Uk 4.The size is prefecto.I love them.

Super cute, versatile shoe. Love the thick docs tread with lots of grip - these shoes will definitely last a long time. Looks great with a dressy office outfit or with casual leggings or jeans. Only complaint is a slightly narrow width.

I like the styling and comfort. Feels a bit larger than my normal size but is still a great shoe.

Loved the look of these shoes. I ordered a 9.5 (I'm a consistent 9.5 M), but not only were they too short in the toe box, but they were so stiff, I didn't think I could possibly wear them long enough to even break them in. I'm sure they are durable, but it would be nice if the leather had been softened up a bit. My arch hovered well above the shoe bed - I do have a high arch, but not usually a problem with most styles with some arch support.

I'm a Dr. Martens convert! I needed a nice looking pair of loafers for walking around in cold weather. I've never owned Doc Martens and I am not a clunky shoe person so I was pleasantly surprised when these arrived and looked as good in person as in the photo. I ordered a 7 and a 6 and, as others have said, I definitely needed the smaller size. I wore them for a couple of hours the first day and I can tell they will be perfect after they break in. The lug sole is great on slippery brick pavements.They look good with wide leg pants and I'll probably also wear them with short skirts and tights. Very happy I bought these.

This is a beautiful shoe, that is why I have to give it a very high rating. The quality is excellent. Unfortunately, the width was too narrow for me, but anyone with a normal to slightly narrow width will love it. Now I have to look for something similar. So sad to return them. By the way, Zappos is THE best online store. Never hesitate to order here. They will make sure you are satisfied every time.

I absolutely love these shoes! These are attractive, classy shoes, with a bit of sassy attitude. I love the leather and finish. I love the tassel - the way it is displayed is unexpected. I love the sole and heel, which I was not sure about until they arrived. I wear a solid size US 9, however, they were too big. I sized down one size in an exchange and they were perfect right out of the box. The leather is a little stiff, but I had no issues in wearing them all day at work. It is almost as if I could feel them molding to my feet during the day. I highly recommend these shoes - they are my first ever Doc Martens - and I wish that I would have tried this brand sooner. And, as always, Zappos is absolutely amazing - I received both orders as if the shoe fairy just dropped them off during the night!

these take a little time to break in, but basically they are very comfortable for all day wear. they are also justcreally stylish and classic looking for work. i think for the price they are really sturdy and well made. they are also great in the winter--good traction.

This a nice loafer. A bit heavy but that is to be expected from a Dr. Marten. I normally wear a 6.5 and I have a flat wide foot. I got this shoe in a 6 and after wearing it a few times it flips off my foot a bit. Otherwise, it is a cute and comfortable shoe.

The shoe is very pretty, but hard to keep on the foot. It slips off when I walk but it is tight in the toe area. I just think the design is off, at least for my foot. Doc Martens are great, and I usually love the shoes. Just an off fit for me.

I needed black work shoes for my new uniformed position and the requirement was closed toe, low heel, comfortable shoe, all the while I needed it to be feminine looking and not so masculine, yet not old granny-like either! I thought these were perfect until I got them and tried them on. They were really hard and difficult to wear. Hurt my feet before I even could get them on! wish they were more comfortable bc I really wanted these to work out. Returning them.

I am a size 9 in most brands (8 1/2 in Franco Sarto, 9 1/2 in Nike, 9 in everything else). Reading the other reviews with sizing issues, I ordered one UK6 and one UK7. The UK 6 was so small, I could hardly get my foot in. The UK7 was so large, it flopped around on my foot. I'm sad these don't come in 1/2 sizes, because that would most likely be perfect for me. Otherwise, absolutely beautiful shoes I'm sorry didn't work out.

I really like the look of the shoe. I usually wear a 7 1/2 -8, and before purchasing, I read other reviews that said the shoe runs large. Yes it does. I ordered a 7 which was the correct length and the correct width in the toe box. However, the heel seemed unusually wide and my foot slipped out. (But a smaller size would have been too short.) My foot is on the narrow size, but I often do not need a "AA" or "N", often fine with B width. Bigger problem for me was the shoe was very stiff. The tongue didn't seem to bend easily and dug into the top of my foot. I do not have high arches. I tried the shoes with socks, too. It just wasn't the correct shoe for my foot. Too bad as I love the look.

The material felt very cheap and not true to size.

The length was way off; the toe was too long and much more pointed than typical Doc Martens. (I ordered a size 8, but the shoe was over an inch longer than another pair of my shoes that were 8.5.) Also, the shoes were too tight in the toe box yet slipped in the heel. Basically, these looked like a pair of men's loafers with a heel --not all all what I had expected.
