In my experience these shoes run half a size small. I ordered my normal Van's size first and they were way too small and narrow for my foot. The next half size up fit perfectly. And they are super comfy and adorable! Love the embroidery!

I work on cement and finding comfy shoes is tough. Super padded insole for my heels. And a fun design for the eyelets.

I really like this style! However it was somewhat of a tight fit for my foot. I wear an 8 1/2 old school style and they fit perfect. Realized that there is a removable foot insole in the shoes that easily comes out, so replaced it with a thin insole and now they fit perfect.

I love the mushroom flower design on these. But they are not for people with high volume feet, aka high arches. I'm not sure if it's the material -- it's a thick, almost canvas-like fabric -- or just the design. I've had other pairs of lace-up Vans fit really nicely, especially as I have wide feet. These were comfortable enough, but just didn't seem to work for my anatomy. Also, I agree with other reviewers that the base color is not as cream-leaning as it looks in the pictures. If the shoes fit I would have kept them regardless of the coloring, but I'm going to return instead and try for a different style.

I have a narrow foot with a high arch, so it's not surprising that these were too wide (especially in the toe box). The fact that a size fit both men and women should have been my first clue. No arch support to speak of, but I wear orthotics anyway so not a problem. I ordered the green check and it is more saturated "sage" than bright "lime". I definitely would have kept them had they fit.

I have a troubling amount of Vans’ Authentic style and the SF edition is easily my favorite. The materials they use are much less rigid and the Ultra Cush sole is comfy by Vans standards. Additionally the back of the shoe is designed to fold down so they can become slippers within a second. The Mango color is a little less bright than it appears in the pictures but I actually prefer the more subdued color way. Overall a great sneaker!

These were very narrow. Too tight for me, and my foot is relatively narrow. I've had Van's before and never had this issue. They are very cute, but I'm returning them.

Fit was fine, loved the maroon corduroy. Problem #1 the inner foam padding. Too much. Problem #2 the larger white rim.
Would have kept the shoes were it not for these issues.

I have wide feet and I went a full size up on these. Not only were they still way too narrow, they were not very forgiving in the toe-box area height wise. They were super easy to get off with the step on the back of your heel method, which was nice. I am an adult man who bought these for a costume, so I wont have to wear them much more than I have before I give them to a friend who has narrower feet than me, thankfully.
TLDR: Costume A+, Real life please no
