We have been long-time Tsukihoshi shoe buyers. It was everything we have grown accustom to for their shoes - comfort and style. However, the Velcro on this split apart after 1 month of use. The prior pair did this too but after a few months. I'm not sure if they're not using as strong string/thread to sew together the Velcro but something isn't working properly.

I've been buying these sneakers for my daughter (who is now 4) for a couple years now, and normally I love them. But on these, the fabric separated from the velcro on the strap within 2 months of starting to wear them! Super disappointing at this price point.

My daughter has been wearing Tsukihoshi shoes for years. I love this brand - they've always been easy for my daughter to put on by herself (even when she was 2 and 3 years old). She says they're very comfortable and are the only shoes she chooses to wear to school. I love them because they're washable and look nearly new after each wash. This Rainbow style was super cute and we'd always get compliments. This particular style did seem to be more narrow than the other Tsukihoshi styles we've had in the past. They're not as narrow as other shoes, they're just more narrow than other Tsukihoshi shoes...not a problem, my daughter just wore thinner socks.

These shoes for my granddaughter fell apart after 2 months of wearing them to school. The Velcro ripped. The toes peeled. I would not recommend.

These run very small.

Love this brand. This is the second pair we've bought. Lightweight. Sturdy material similar to Crocs. Breathable.

Bought the rainbow ones. My 5-yo daughter is obsessed. Well made. Comfy and adorable.

This is a great brand!! Was wary of buying because of the colors on the shoe but i was wrong!! My kid loves these shoes and they are very comfortable. Very easy to wash! My kid will only wear this brand! Thanks!!!

I bought these for my daughter. We loved the style and the fit. And she loves wearing them! However, she started wearing them on Aug 24 and yesterday (Sept 14) I noticed that the front rubber ends were already starting to peel off. She only wears them to school.

We have had 2 pairs of the rainbow and I am about to purchase the 3rd. My daughter has a high instep and we struggle with finding shoes to fit her comfortably- these are wonderful! They’re machine washable and somehow look like they’re in amazing shape after being worn daily for months. At first I thought they were kind of pricey, but it is worth it for the quality, durability, and comfort.

These are great shoes for my four year old daughter! She is incredibly picky about shoes and clothes, specifically about how they fit and FEEL. She has sensory issues, and we tried on over 15 pair of shoes before she declared these the winner. I particularly like that the tongue stays in place and doesn't slide around since it's attached on one side. Will buy again!

This is our second pair of Tsukihoshi Shoes and they're just as good as the first pair. Fit my daughter perfectly right out of the box. No rubbing or discomfort at all. She wears them every day and loves them. Definitely recommend!

The fit was as described. Construction is pretty good. They've held up as expected so far. Daughter loves the style.

My Daughter's foot measured a 9.5, so I ordered a size 10. It is almost the perfect fit, so unless her measurement was incorrect, I'd say this shoe runs about a 1/2 size too small. Overall, my Daughter loves the shoe (especially the colors) and we will keep them.

Bought for school. My child is able to run around fine but after a few wears, the laces seem to stretch out and now she can't wear them anymore. I am upset because now she has 1 pair of sneakers instead of 2 to interchange for the school year. She really loved the colors but cannot wear them.

We bought the silver/navy pair. They are super cute and comfortable, but my daughter has only worn them about 10 times, and the toe box is already coming unglued! I was willing to give the brand another try, but her size in the same color is out of stock. Zappos was great and gave me a refund.

After wearing these only a handful of times, the bottoms are soles are falling off the shoes. For how much they cost, they just don't hold up well like other kids shoes we have bought.

Falls apart in the wash. So much for being machine washable. The last pair I ordered had the same issue: the fabric pulls away from the Velcro strap. The quality is unbelievably poor.

We have been buying this brand for my daughter for 4-5 yrs and they are great! She wears them virtually everyday so they get TONS of wear and hold up so well! We tried to go for an Amazon brand this round but they paled in comparison, totally worth the money!

Parent's POV: I love that they're machine washable and dry relatively quickly and are great for growing children's foot development. I don't love the style, but kids love colors and gradation and it's for THEIR feet, so as long as they like them, it's a win for me.

My avid pink lover took to these straight away, pretty pink shading and the shiny part make them feel fancy. She is always trying to wear her dress up heel shoes outside which can be a recipe for a fall so these were perfect she still feels some sense of fanciness and all function. They are super lightweight and extremely easy for her hands to put on herself, as she doesn't have the strongest hand strength just yet. I think these were well worth the added cost.

Well made and good looking. Perfect for the little one to run around all day. Not good on rainy days though.

These are great shoes and we have used this brand repeatedly for our daughter’s shoes as they have grown.

My 3 year old loves these shoes so much and wore them for an entire year. I bought her the exact same pair in the next size up. She was so excited to see a new pair of her fav shoes. They are easy for her to put on by herself and held up well after lots of use. Also love that they are machine washable. They come out of the washing machine looking like new. Love these shoes.
