I was disappointed with the fit on this shoe. It looks cute but it didn't fit. I have been measured as an 8 1/2 wide on one foot and 8 on the other and I typically buy 8 1/2 wide shoes. I had to return them.

Nearly all of my shoes are Munro, in narrow. Always a great fit. Except this one. The shoe runs deep at the heel, and hits the bottom of the ankle, even with a padded insert. Also, I wear a standard size 8AA, but this shoe was at least 1/2 size larger. The width was perfect. Sadly, they had to be returned. Still overall, a well styled and modern looking shoe.

The Munro American Zip is a great looking shoe but does not fit my foot. The 5-1/2 2E of this shoe is a bit long and I step right out of them. I typically wear a size 5-1/2 2E in Brooks and New Balance running shoes. It is also very narrow and the sides of my feet hurt just trying them on. For this type of shoe I typically use a New Balance stability insole (1AS3720) in size W5.5 for arch support. The New Balance insole is wider than the exterior bottom of the Zip. It is nice that the insole is removable for one's own insole or orthotic. Note that the elastic straps are not adjustable.

Overall structure was good except the heel was bothersome. Sorry to return as I really needed a good flat slip in shoe.

Very disappointed. I wanted this style shoe with an attractive silhouette in all black, and these are the most stylish with a rise in the arch and a significant heel. I need a lot of toe room and got the WW in a 7, which is even a bit too long, but even after I took the insole out, there was toe pinching. Plus, with the insole gone the front felt really hard. I put my foot over the insole and could clearly see that there was not enough width. A smidgen more toe box height might have helped as this is a flexible upper. The Propets that I got for less than a third of the price fit better and have an adjustable elastic strap too. However, their black model has a white sole and the fabric pattern is not as classy.

I really wanted to like these. They were cute, but not comfortable enough for the price. I have wide duck feet, and these had room for my toes. Unfortunately there was no arch support, and I could not get it to be comfortable with an orthodic. I am sure it would work for someone else, but not for me.

Strange sizing...loved the look but couldn't find a fit, width wise. I am always AA or medium. Medium in this shoe was too tight and the wide was a boat.
