I ordered my regular size that I always wear in vans but these were way too tight. Possibly order the next size up.

I've had numerous pairs of the normal laced Classic SlipOn in 9, but that was way too small in this version. I returned those and got a pair of 9.5s, but those too are on the snug side. (My feet are on the wider side though.)

Love the color and style however run narrow and small. I wear old school style and they fit perfect @ 8 1/2. The mules were too tight and short for my foot. I would only recommend if you have a narrow foot.

I am a true size 8 in every pair of womens vans I own (including other mules that have laces.) These ones were about 1.5-2 inches too large. Still comfortable and love them! Just oddly a bit large!

These shoes are incredibly cute and stylish, however run kinda small. I would recommend going up a half size! I've worn vans forever and have always been a 6.5 in any style with enough room; but with these shoes my heel is right at the end of the shoe and it definitely feels small on my foot.

We bought these plaid mule shoes for our daughter for Christmas. The box arrived fine but the contents was a bit of a surprise. Don't get me wrong, the shoes were very comfortable but the material/fabric was little somewhat of a Shocker! Our daughter called us and asked if something was wrong with the fabric. She tried to describe to me over the phone on face-time what she was concerned about! We were not sure what to say as the shoes looked like a chia pet with literally frizzy hair growing all over the shoes. The shoes seemed to come alive. Our suggestion was to shave the frizzy hair from the outer and top parts of the shoes. LOL! She felt taking them into a Vans store would be a better solution as she wanted a salesperson to explain why frizzy hair was growing out of the shoes! Is this normal? None of us are too sure if the shoes are supposed to look this way or if the fabric is reacting like an explosion in a toothpick factory, LOL, from some sort of a shipping problem or sitting near the ocean waters and the material failing its purpose! Either way, the mystery needs to be solved! Again a very comfortable shoe and style, not to mention the photos make the shoes look adorable. However, please explain the Frizzy Fabric! We love Vans and purchase a lot of shoes for our kids, grand kids, and great grand kids so we are hoping for satisfaction with the online purchase. We do love to actually touch, try on and feel our shoes but having children and extended family all over the globe csn make that impossible. Maybe a virtual marketing for online might help to really experience what you are buying would be the answer. Thank you for listening to my story.
