These are high quality shoes as should be expected for the price. My son has only worn these to "fancy" events so I can't attest to the durability of everyday wear. My 3 year-old son doesn't like the stiffness of the shoe but he also rages against all pants so this is just an issue we have to overcome. Considering his aversion to stiff shoes, he wore them for the duration of our event without a problem. I hope to get a second life out of these when they are passed on to my young son.

My grandson is a size 7 in a sneaker. Had to go with the 6.5 for this slip-on.

Runs small and are a narrow shoe for my son's feet. Exchanged for a 1/2 size up which helped with the length, but still took them to a shoe repair shop to have them stretched in the toe box.

Love these for those semi-formal events when my son needs to look casually nice, but not super dressy. Love the cool green bottoms and the suede is so comfy. Fairly narrow so an extra half size helped. These are his go-to church shoes, now!

My son is pleased with the shoes. They do need to be worn once or twice to stretch out.

This was a good value for in regards to the price and quality.

My son loves these as "dress up" shoes. They are easy to put on and very comfortable (he says) ;).

I would agree that they seem to run a bit small. Unfortunately, they only go up to a size 7. My eleven year old would have to purchase the adult size 8.

nice looking shoe, size way too big

I had to return these because they were incredibly narrow & fit much smaller than marked. My son is 6 and usually wears a 12 in little kid size. His foot is 7 1/4" long and 3" wide at the widest point & these did not fit. They would be great for a narrow foot! They style is great though, it's a nice cognac colored leather and the sole isn't too clunky.

These run pretty narrow and were too hard for my son( 5.5) to put on himself. But man do they look cool!

Very narrow. My son couldn’t even get his foot into the shoe.

Initially purchased my son’s regular size but could not yet his foot in so exchanged for a whole size up and still could not get his foot in. Just too narrow, and I think my son has quite narrow feet. Had to return and give up. They do look great though so a bit sad!

Very disappointed. It's a gorgeous shoe, but like others' reviews, I found the shoe to be completely too narrow for my son. He has a narrow foot to begin with, and he could not get the shoe on. Sending back, but truly wish we didn't have to. Great design with a lot of character.

Shoe ran very narrow and small. I think the band across the top for the penny loafer style made it very hard to get his foot in. We returned it several times for larger sizes. Finally switched to Florsheim without the penny loafer style with flat top and the fit was fine.(the Jasper Venetian). New style was great.

These loafers run WAAAy small. They are adorable (just like daddy's!) and have a plush foam insole. But put next to the same size pair of Florsheim kids chukkas, they are about an inch shorter. I don't get it. We're sending them back and trying full size larger - maybe a size and a half...

I should have read the reviews before purchasing. They will be going back. My son can barely get them on.

I have ordered four pairs of these shoes for my son, and none of them have worked. First I ordered the kids 5.5 and they were more like a women’s 9 - I tried them on and they fit me. I thought it might be a fluke so purchased another 5.5 and a 5, and they were both too small. The next pair I ordered was a kids size 6 and they’re even smaller than his original size 5. I believe I was sent to the wrong pair of shoes in a size 6 box because the actual shoe is closer to a 4.5. I have been buying this particular shoe in every size since he was about five years old and he’s 12. I’m going to try one more time ordering a size 6.

the sold of one of these shoes tore completely off within a month, these are cheaply made garbage
