The Trotters were about 1/2 size too large. I was also disappointed in their appearance which looked like plastic. Back to the drawing board for a casual summer shoe.

I ordered an 8 1/2 WW. It is unfortunate that shoe makers think, if a woman needs a wider width, she also needs a wider heel. This shoe is a bit narrow in the front but too wide at the heel. Also, I thought this she was like a sneaker. It has a plasticized fabric upper so there was no "give" to it. It's uncomfortable. Also, the arch support is too far back so it feels weird.

Found these to be stiff and narrow in the toe box and instep. Did not care for the plastic coating look of the material

The taupe/tan Americana is a nice looking shoe and I wanted it to work but it was stiff and hit my ankle bones on both sides. Not comfortable one my feet, and while insole is padded,I didn't think it had especially good arch support. Perhaps the microfiber might not be so stiff.

I wear Six and half to 7WW. Shoes are narrow. I have high in-step. The shoes are very uncomfortable. Will be returning them.
