I would give this shoe five stars except for the lining of the shoe. It is so heavily imprinted, that you feel all those lines against the bottom of your foot. For that reason, I almost sent the shoe back. I decided to take a chance on it, and I will say that after awhile I do not notice it. I have only wore them for a few hours at a time, so I cannot say how they would hold up to all day comfort. But mostly, I think they are a very cute and comfortable shoe.

I read the comments about "grigio" (it does mean "gray" in Italian) and ordered that color. Mine aren't gray--they're more like taupe, but I like them. And they're comfortable--wore them all day, right out of the box.

I have tried a lot of sandals with the new block heel, but they either didn't fit properly or had rough edges that cut into my foot. This Born sandal is incredibly stylish and comfortable. So comfy, you might forget you're wearing them! I can tell they will be my go-to sandals. I got the black, but may go back for the brown.

Like one of the other reviewers, I found the imprinting on the footbed unpleasant and, over time, actually uncomfortable. In other ways, the sandal is quite comfy--soft leather, good coverage, low-ish heel. But I really wish Born covered the footbeds of their sandals with suede or something similar, the way many of the "comfort shoe" brands do. I hate the sticky feeling of a leather footbed when the weather is warm. That said, the problem is easily solved: I took my pair to a shoe repair place, and they covered the footbed with a layer of suede for about $20. They also put in a cushion at the ball of the foot, since there's very little actual cushioning in this shoe, and I'm on my feet a lot. Note: there's really no arch support to speak of. This is another issue I wish Born would fix. Still, I'm keeping the sandals, and buying a second pair in a different color, because they really are very cute, and they're professional enough for work.

Very comfortable. The first time I wore them for 12 hours and my feet felt fine. I ordered the grigio color which is grey but they don't look grey - they look like a lighter brown.

Only gave 4 stars because the color "grigio" is actually gray. Not brown as pictured. The box even says gray. Not sure where "grigio" came from. Not sure if I'm going to keep.

I am returning these because I am a size 9.5. I thought the 10 would work, but will try the 9. I like the shoe and it felt great.

These are beautifully made shoes - but unfortunately the embossed logo under the heel is so pronounced, it feels like walking on gravel. Sadly I am returning these.
