I love Chaco's and have 3 pairs. I think these run slightly narrow-the rubbed too much on one toe to be comfortable. Perhaps just my feet. Sad to send these back.

I bought these shoes last September for a bike/barge trip to the Netherlands and then on to Paris and the Cornwall Coast for some great hiking. Honestly, for a serious hiker, I would not recommend them as a hiking shoe per se, but, having said that, they did great. I got them because they were lightweight (a must as I backbacked for 2 weeks) and washable (also a must by the time I returned home :-). I just loved these shoes. I'm not a big tennis shoe fan because they tend to be bulky and ugly. But these are nothing but cute cute cute. I would get another pair in a hearbeat! Don't hesitate. They are great!

I love these shoes. I bought the white ones earlier this year and wear them at work and on long walks. The black ones recently went on sale, so I bought a pair (in case they are not made next year). Evo1.5 are lightweight and very comfortable. They are meant to wear barefoot, but I wear them both barefoot and with socks and the width is easy to adjust with the pull string. The fabric is soft and the support is perfect for my high arch.

My old New Balance 'casual' sneakers were beyond worn out and I needed a new option for weekend errands, chasing my toddler around and also being supportive. I love my Chaco sandals and these are great. Worth the money & investment, and while they have a little less 'support' than the sandals due to the lack of the custom straps, I have worn them all day and full comfort. The pull cord shoelaces allow easy on & off, as well as easily tightening to my own preference.

I must of looked at 1,000 athletic shoes not only on Zappos but Amazon as well.. Then I saw these on Zappos and they seemed too perfect to be true.. I went to the Chaco website and checked out their shoes as well.. Priced the same in both places. I was very pleased with how these shoes were made and how light they were.. So I bought them and I am so happy I did. I love love love them and will be getting another pair shortly.. They fit me perfectly like a good fitting glove but only for your foot..
I hope others will have the same luck.. I cannot rate them 10 stars or I would..

Good lightweight water shoes. Fits narrower than some, in a good way. Not the best hiking shoe.

Strange mesh-like sides. This style is a little more outre than what I was hoping for, but it would probably appeal to believers in minimalism.

I love the shoes. I have a lot of foot problems but I can wear these. I do think they run about a 1/2 size larger

These are an extremely comfortable lightweight shoe. I loved the pink color and wore them happily for a few months for walking. Unfortunately the straps/ribbons that tighten the show along the sides are not very strong and the straps started wearing and broke about 3 months into having these.

I like my Chaco Z/1® Vibram® Yampa, so I expected the same amount of support. But no, these shoes let my foot roll a bit and irritated my neuroma. I had to send them back. They are decent looking and lightweight if you don't have foot problems.

Working at a nursery, I am constantly on my feet and always getting my shoes wet. I would live in my Chaco sandals if I could, unfortunately I must wear "real" shoes at work, and these were the perfect fit for their amphibious qualities, as well as comfort and style. Though they don't have as much arch support as the Chaco sandals, I could wear them for nine or more hours, continuously walking on wet concrete, with no discomfort. I ordered my normal 7.5 active shoe size, and the fit is snug barefoot (no slipping), however, if you plan to wear socks with them I'd order a half size up.
Now for the cons. I wear these three to four days a week, with wet and sweaty feet in them all day long, so they do begin to smell. I leave them outside to air dry, use baking soda once a week, and wash with soap on occasion to keep the odors at bay. But the real issue is the flawed strap design. I have had two pairs of these shoes, and both had the heel straps break within three months. Zappos replaced my first pair, but now I will be returning those as well. Perhaps it is because I wear them so often they wear out quicker, but for the price I expect a much longer lifespan. I also own the Chaco Outcross Evo 1, but I don't like the open sides as it is too easy for rocks and dirt to get in your shoe. Guess the search for the perfect work shoe is back on.
As an occasional water shoe, these are great, but everyday wear puts too much stress on the straps.

I love the color, but I was expecting more arch support. I have very narrow feet and a very high arch and I expected chaco shoes to be just as good as their sandals. I need more support then what these provide.

I unfortunately had to send these back I wear a size 7 in Chaco sandals and these shoes were far too long and narrow for my foot. I looked into reviews on here and Amazon and found that too be a consistent complaint. I should have done more research before I bought

I purchased these because of the style and supposedly great brand. However, after only a handful of light hikes, the strap on one of the shoes broke. I was super disappointed and truly believe it's a design flaw, as I see several others have recently had this issue. Resist the urge... choose a different shoe.
On the bright side, Zappos has AMAZING customer service. Thank you Zappos for your support!

I bought these shoes at the end of the summer, but saved them for a trip to Mexico. After a few weeks of wearing them the strapping broke. I hope they will take them back, because of this design flaw. I was sorry, because the shoes were light and comfortable.
