I love the style of these shoes, and the foot bed is amazing for my planter fasciitisâ?¦ The way it cups the heel and foot overall really adjust my feet nicely. However, the straps are one continuous loop and are adjustable. As a result after wearing them for a short period of time the straps self adjust to strangle my toes! Unfortunately I couldn't keep them, but Zappos is so amazing to work with and I had no hassles.

The straps on the left shoe were flawed. The straps on the left shoe had a default in that one strap comning across the instep to the outside toe area was extremely tight & binding. Also out of the three individual straps that come together and make up the straps that go across the top of foot closest to leg, one of those straps that attach to the hook closure was much looser than the opposite strap on the other side.

My feet are just not made for these. I can tell they are a very well made sandal and my husband has a pair of Chacos that he adores, but they are so uncomfortable right around the part where the rubber sole is molded upwards to cradle the area just in front of the heel. Rather than feeling cradled, the space right behind my arch at the forward part of my heel (for lack of a better way to describe it) felt like there was something jabbing into it uncomfortably. If my heels were a bit more narrow, these would work. If the raised part was a bit further forward and hit my arch instead of the area that becomes my heel, these would work. As it is, I feel like I'm stepping on that part of the shoe, and these emphatically do not work. I reached out to Zappo's customer service to determine if this was something that would get better with being broken in or if it was better to just return them. Based on a great conversation I had with a customer service agent, they are heading back and I am checking out Tevas and Keens instead, as I have had good luck in the past with both.

I loved these shoes thought they were cute and would be great for walking up and down the strip in Vegas. They hurt my feet SO MUCH. The bottoms of my feet were rubbed raw from the texture of the sole and the part around my toe was WAY too tight. I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and wear them multiple times to try to stretch them out but so far no luck.

I don't have that fat feet, but I couldn't put my feet all the way in. I purchased a normal instead of wide. The sole portion is super hard as well.
