I absolutely love these shoes, the style (they look great with slim pants), the somewhat arch support, but I should have remembered that fabric uppers do not "give." Even though I ordered a 7.5 C (wide), without a ball insert, my foot slid down and uncomfortably rubbed a blister at the base of my big toe. Since I wore them, I have to keep them or give them away to someone with slightly smaller feet. I normally can wear a 7 wide, but 7.5 wide wasn't sufficient...and my feet aren't that wide, I just like more comfort these days. Leather upper would be a no-brainer!

Very attractive shoe and the elastic band over the arch is brilliant. I'm not really a heels wearer and I found the thin heel to be unstable. The pointy toe didn't bother me but the shoe rubbed a bit just above the toes. Returning primarily because it was too traditional and dressy looking for the "funky" party dress I was trying to match.

I don't wear 3" heels anymore, but when heels are called for, I opt for lower heels w/more comfort in mind. These shoes fit the bill. Ordered 7.5-Wide and felt true to size. The only thing needed is a gel or suede patch at the ball of the foot to prevent your foot from sliding forward when wearing nylons.

Very cute shoe for evening! The elastic bands make it comfortable and hold it securely on your foot. The heel is not too high but still looks great. I do have wide feet (bunions) and used a shoe stretcher to make it a little less snug on those sensitive spots, but the fabric stretched perfectly for a great fit.

The fit was good and they were cute shoes but they were quite uncomfortable!

These shoes are beautiful. I however can not walk in high heels. Also felt unstable on carpet.

The shoes are very comfortable but the material stains easily. I have the black version and they are stained with white/grey dust that doesn't seem to come off. As a result, I am not confident wearing them. again, totally love how comfortable they are and I wish they were better material, but unfortunately I will never buy another pair of shoes with this material.

So while these shoes fit nice, the big wide strap was just plain ugly. I wish it had been thinner.

They pinched around the middle of my foot on the front of the shoe. Unless you have a dainty foot, these may not fit you properly. They are a nice looking shoe, wish I could keep them.

Binds and puts pressure where the upper opens and meets the foot.

These are beautiful shoes but after wearing them for one evening, the material looks like I've been wearing them for much longer. They have these scuff-like marks on them that should not happen with just normal wear. I noticed a couple of them after taking them out of the box and walking around the house to make sure they were comfortable. Not sure how they could get marks that easily. If I'd paid much less for these I could chalk it up to cheaply made, but these were not inexpensive. They are very comfortable. I am disappointed they scuffed up so easily and that I had to return them.

Nice shoe, but it hurt the tuberosity of my 5th metasarsal bone (yes, I looked this up: it's that bump below the pinky toe). The problem is that the covering for the toe-box was too short (at least for my foot), so the edge of the fabric would rub against this bone. I walked about 10 paces on bedroom carpet and felt pain in both feet. The areas mentioned were red after several steps. Bummer because I was hoping for a good work shoe. So, it's a return.

They looked great, walked around the house in them and they seemed pretty comfortable, but I tried to wear them to an interview and I didn't even make it to the interview before having to switch shoes. They pinched the top of my foot and even left a big mark. Ugh! It's a shame, they were super cute.

Beautiful shoe - I just can't keep because they really hurt. This was unexpected as a wide shoe is usually comfortable on me. It just hits on the bone at the base of my little toe and is really painful. I have never had a problem with this spot before. The shoe material is not going to stretch, so not for me.

Perfect height, not too high and not too low. But they hurt a lot in front where they lay on foot before toes. If they were leather they would probably stretch. Very hard to find a medium heel in black that is leather.

Love Zappos!!!!...This LifeStride Solace shoe is a beautiful shoe and looks more expensive than the price, but "painful" isn't even close to the word I would use when wearing these shoes. When I first put them on, they were fine...the about 30 minutes into a wedding, my feet were swelling. The toe area doesn't give and cuts into your feet...and I even ordered a wide!
