For those with narrow feet, I was pleased with this size/style/width! However, the strap in the middle--without a buckle--appears to be that used for the medium width. Luckily, the buckeled straps work well to make it a good fit.

This is a review update from the one I wrote for the size 41 Birkenstock Salina. I have consistently worn 41's for 20 years or more. This is the first time I've needed to go up a size because of the middle strap that does not adjust. I do like the styling of this sandal and wanted a more comfortable fit for my high instep and arches.

Fit is good, not very comfortable but I feel the longer I wear them the better they get!

The salina is comfortable but I am returning because I did not like the birko-flor silver color. The coated metallic leathers are much more attractive. If this style came in leather, I may have kept it. The Regular width is almost too wide and I have medium-to-wide feet.

This was a replacement pair for identical sandals that I wore as “house shoes” for three years. Since only the Narrow size (which accommodates Medium) was available, I took a chance. They are almost as confortable as my former pair, but I wish I had waited for Regular width as my heels are just very slightly cramped. Bottom line—comfortable sandal with decent arch support. Be aware that it takes some days of initial wearing before the footbed loosens up and starts molding to your foot in the ideal way.

I really wanted to love these sandals. They looked so nice for the first hour. Then my high arch came up against the fixed middle strap. Too tight. So Sad, but back they go.

These are very cute and comfortable. However, if you have fairly flat feet like I do, the arch in the footbed is a little high and can become uncomfortable after several hours of wearing. Overall though I really like them and they don’t do the “flip flop” thing and make noise when you walk!

I bought these to be my "pregnant shoes" for the summer. I needed something with good arch support and I think these will work out well. I wear a size 6.5 so I got a 37. I thought they looked a little big on me but I decided to keep them and not exchange. They are super comfortable now that I have had a chance to break them in. At first, I only wore them around the house because they were really stiff. If you have never worn Birkenstock's before, it will take some getting used to but once they are broken in, they will feel like they were made specifically for your feet.

I've been a faithful Birekenstock custoner for decades. This is the first pair that disappointed me. The footbed is splitting/cracking and under foot it felt 'sticky'. My past sandals have had which felt smooth for years! Are they not using the same quality standards?

These seem to run small - I was hanging over the back of the shoe. The foot bed was typical Birkenstock comfort though. The extra strap was a bit odd - it can't be adjusted so was wider than the other straps on me. It just seemed to flap around.

I basically were Mayeri Birkenstocks all the time. I thought I would try this new style. They are OK, but they do feel like I have a lot more shoe on my foot than I am accustomed to. I’m not sure about how the extra leather on the top actually feels because I put them on for a few minutes I said no, so I’m returning them

Well, I tried on a 39 at a store. I thought they were so comfortable but perhaps just a hair short so I ordered the 40 from Zappos fully expecting the same comfort and look. The look is the same and I like that, but the fit is not comfortable to me. Maybe there is a break-in period? The upper strap presses on my foot for each step which I know would wear on me quickly. And for some reason my right heel tends to slip off to the right. I did notice this on the pair I tried on at the store but thought perhaps it was just that shoe. Must be my foot and the design of this sandal. I'm reluctantly sending them back

I've always worn size 39 in Birkies but decided to trust the Zappo's recommendation that I order a 40 in this shoe. Unfortunatley that size is way too big. My right foot measure size 9, while my left measures 9.5. I also have multiple problems with my right foot so finding shoes that are comfortable and don't exacerbate my problems is difficult. Essentially I don't really care what a shoe looks like, if I can wear it for several hours without discomfort. I highly recommend Birkies with their original insole and I'm still wearing a pair that are 10 years old and really "worn out." When I put my feet in them, though, I literally utter a sigh because my feet feel like they're "home."

I loved the way they looked and filled, but I returned them because the center strap was too long and could not be adjusted. There was a lot of air between my food and the strap. I will go back to the Florida.

I really wanted to love these, but the middle strap was too loose and sort of puffed up over my foot. Since the middle strap isn't adjustable it looked weird because it wouldn't lay flat. I have a very flat arch, so that could be the issue - those with a high arch could be fine.

Cute but the strap that isn't adjustable felt tight over my high arched foot.

Ouch!!!! Wanted to love these. The structure of the cross strap pinched my toe on one end and the side of my foot on the other; it was loose and couldn't be adjusted so shoe couldn't fit my feet. Love the strap material.

these are my favorite shoes. I would have half a dozen of this sandal if I could afford them!

These are my favorite shoes and I have bought them multiple times.

I had the same pair for 6 years, have not worn this one yet but I am replacing the one I have. I love this. and I am using the old pair for walk out.

Love these shoes. I have had them so long that now I need more. They are comfortable but if you have bad feet, I would warn you that these are not very cushioned.
