I have wanted these shoes for years, finally pulled the trigger and I’m not sure I received the same shoe everyone is raving about. I absolutely love the color, they are so cute however the straps are so stiff my toes are literally bleeding. I realize there must be a wearing in period but I’ve been wearing them for three days now (as much as possible) and need to wear band aids just to make them bareable. Footbed is not soft and feels like sandpaper (as another person also experienced). I have three other Birks that I love. I’ve never had an issue. These are not like the others. Is it possible I got a bad shoe? I really want to love these but it’s hard if I can’t walk in them ?.

This is my third pair of Birkenstock Arizona sandals. I’ve been buying them for year. Birkenstock never disappoints in terms of comfort. I always order a narrow size as I find the regular to be too wide, although I don’t think of myself as having super narrow feet. These are a beautiful rose gold colour that can be dressed up with a cute jumpsuit or dressed down with a pair of cut off jean shorts. My only complaint about these (it’s kind of a big one) is that the rose gold leather gets scratches on it VERY easily, and the scuffs cannot be rubbed off. Not something you would expect for a shoe that’s not cheap. So buyer beware! They’re beautiful! BUT! Maybe buy another colour - I never had this problem with the white and silver Birkenstocks respectively.

All the comfort and support of the Birkenstock brand, but a word of warning to these painted leather styles: Soon after I started to wear these (they are my indoor office shoes - I'm a massage therapist) they began to scuff and the shiny paint started to wear off, mostly on the instep where my feet my rub against one another. They're very noticeably scuffed after only a couple months of wear.

This is the first time I have tried Birkenstocks since I have plantar fasciitis. I don't find these as comfortable as I have heard others rave. The footbed is stiff and harder than I would like, and the golden straps rub the top of my feet and feel uncomfortable. I am going to give them a little more time to see if things change.

I was so excited to get these. They’re really cute and the food-bed is really comfortable. However, the straps on top are so rigid that I feel like I have bruises on the tops of my feet after wearing them all day. I wear them anyways because of the cost, but my feet kill me by the end of the day.

I’ve ordered four different pairs of these and each pair is terribly scratched and scuffed. I refuse to pay $135 for shoes that are scratched prior to being worn. Disappointed.

I'm a solid Birkenstock fan. Love the soft footbed, not keen on the super shiny gold material. Does not look pink at all. Sadly returning this sandal. I am keeping the identical Arizona style but in Oiled Leather Iron, which looks much better. I am usually a 7 1/2 wide shoe, and Birkenstock in 37 regular fits oh so comfortably.

I was sent a used pair of shoes that stunk and had greesy footprints on the foot bed. Yuck!

Unfortunately, I was incredibly disappointed by this purchase. I have been purchasing shoes/sneakers from Zappos for several years and until recently it appears their quality control has slipped. I ordered this pair of $140 Birkenstocks along with several other sneakers and expected to receive a new pair. What I received in an multiple Amazon box shipments with my other shoes purchased was a free floating pair of sandals in an unmarked box, no identifying tags, no labels and the shoes were scratched, as though they had been worn which resulted in a refund and return. It appears that Zappos is outsourcing their customers with Amazon as a middle man supplier which can result in a product quality that is far less than what you’d expect in a new (and expensive) shoe purchase. Luckily, Zappos rectified the matter quite quickly .

Unfortunately, these scratched and scuffed terribly within my first wear. I've had to return which is too bad, they're really cute.

I ordered the same size as another pair of metallic birkenstocks I own and it's like it's a completely different shoe. It's uncomfortable, the straps are rigid and it feels like it was made for a man.

These look like a soft metallic pink in the picture but they are much browner in person.

How is it possible that this shoe has a 5 star rating with over 150 reviews? The leather under the shiny copper metallic foil (which is damaged by just adjusting the buckle) is like sandpaper. The footbed is soft and the "leather band" is as uncomfortable as sandpaper rubbing against my skin. I kept checking the packaging to see if it was actual leather. Really disappointed because the length of the sandal was right but it does run very wide.

One of the more comfortable styles of Birks, eventhough most all of them are pretty comfy anyway.

Im amazed with all the bending and twisting I did to adjust the straps....that I didn't see any flaking or scratching on the sandals. I love metallics and I hope these keep up their glow! My feet are narrow and these fit great. I did size up from a 39 to a 40...to give my toes room. I'd advise you do the same because the narrow effect pushes your toes further forward. Now I'm thinking about buying the silver!

The fit and size was perfect for me. I have a bad back so I love Birkenstocks because I can walk in them all day. I never have back pain.

I have a very wide foot and it accommodated it, even though it is not rated as wide. very comfortable support for arches too.

these birks took one wear to break in and they feel like slippers!! and the metallic makes me feel fancy!obsessed!
