I most often require a size 10.5 wide in many brands of shoes and boots. The size 10 Adidas Terrex Hydro-lace fits me well, if I wear a light or medium weight neoprene sock or heavy weight wool sock.

The boot doesn't really conform to your foot. It's seems a lot wider than it's supposed to be. Bulky, it looks a lot tighter in the picture.

The soles Very ridged but maybe that's. Needed for lots of hiking . The sizing seems to be off.

I wear a US 8.5 mens shoe, and for canyoneering shoes I go up a half size so I have room for wetsuit socks. I ordered a 8, and the length was fine. However, even without wetsuit socks the shoe was very narrow and uncomfortable. I will be returning. Canyoneers should note, unlike the 5.10 Canyoneering shoe it does NOT have drain holes, nor is there a mesh in the upper to allow fast exit for water. The sole has a mix off tread so I think it would work well fro the grip. It does appear to be well constructed.

After reading reviews and description of shoes, I was convinced to order a size bigger. Not only were they way too big, but they were too wide. Definitely recommend ordering the correct size you wear. They are nice quality, but they are true to size.
