This is a long, narrow shoe. I ordered my normal size but the toes were so long (and I have long toes!) that even my longest toe only reached about 2/3 of the way, my pinky toe barely made it into the pinky toe slot and it was tighter than the other Vibrams I own. Having said that, it was actually really comfortable! But it was too large and the heel was loose. Then I ordered down one size and while it fit, it was rather tight and there was a seam running smack dab in the middle of my big toe and the end had a hard knob as if it had been burnt to seal it. So then I exchanged THAT pair for one more just to be sure and even the third pair were so uncomfortable and scratchy on in the inside. I really wanted to love this shoe! I am a serious walker and need a pair with some tread to cushion my heel in the right spots and still allow for the true barefoot experience and these shoes DO offer that perfect tread and cushion! I am so sad... My search for the perfect walking shoe continues...

The company says this model runs larger than the Bikila EVO, and for me, this is true. I ordered my regular size and a size smaller, and the smaller one was the right length. The first pair I tried had a defect in the fabric/sewing so that it gapped out on the side. Zappos kindly sent me another to try, and although they fit, I am sending them back. The new fabric is soft and stretchy, but, to me, confining, pressing on my foot all around. The larger size did this, too, besides being too long, so it was not a sizing issue. I love my Bikila EVOs, and I hope Vibram Fivefingers will come out with a model with the older fabric. BTW, the pink/red has no red in it, rather several shades of pink, and the pink is much more vibrant than it looks in the photo.

I wanted to love these vibrams so much but just couldn't. I've owned several pairs, and with this particular pair I had to size up but even then the plastic on the sides of the shoes dug into my foot. Sadly I had to return them.

I almost love them but couldn't use them because the length difference between the pinky and next toe on these shoes is huge. Other Vibrams I had were not like this.

Very disappointed, not sure if this pair was defective or not but they were ridiculously narrow and beyond that in the little toe pocket was a horrible seam/ridge.

Bought these shoes about a month ago and the sole is already peeling away from the shoe. Very disappointed with this product. Definitely not worth the price!!

Not as ugly as I expected - actually kind of cool looking. Unfortunately as a wide-footed woman I couldn't even put these on. Will be returning and trying a men's size instead.

I just can’t get this style to fit me, no matter how many times I try. My size is a bit too long, and downsizing gives me blisters. I see the benefits of this style, just not for my feet.

The opening for my foot to get into the shoe was way too small and even at the maximum extension of laces I couldn't fit my foot into the shoe. Could not even "try it on" (the size is my size in VFF and I've been wearing them for ten years.)

I bought these V-Runs from the Vibram website two months ago. The 37-37.5 fit my standard size 7 foot just right. Very, very tight the first 20 wears, but easy to slip on now.
There is a bit of room in the toes, so my toenails aren't rubbing up against the big toe bumpers, which I prefer. I'm not sure if that space would be irritating for running, but for walking they are uber comfortable, even over gravel.
The previous Vibrams I bought 4 years ago (trainers) were wildly undersized--I took a 39. The sizing seems to have been straightened out here.

I have been racewalking in Vibram V-Runs for about three years, and they're my go-to shoes. Vibrams are as close to walking barefoot as you can get. There is minimal arch support and no cushion that breaks down with miles. I wear them until I literally feel the road coming through underneath because of the holes in the soles. This takes about two years, which is far longer than the typical three months my previous running shoes lasted. They fit like a glove and are true to size. My feet feel great and sturdy in them, and I can push off the ground easily. The downfall is my kids think they are "hideous," but what do they know?

They're Vibrams, of course they're great. I have 3 pairs of these shoes through out the years. I am a repeat buyer and they are my primary shoe. A pair of Vibram sandals, Merrill hiking boots and Wellies and I have all the shoes I need. I am a nurse who works a busy 12 hour shift and I wear the Five Fingers. Every day.

I purchased these for my wife. Reason for doing so, I like walking barefoot. She hates that, but loves the fact I’m willing to wear them, reason, their so comfortable. She feels the same, loves wearing them, very comfortable, and protect our feet as well.

They fit just like my old KMD Sports. I actually struggle to find real differences. I’m excited to have a new pair without a hole in the toe!!

This shoe was labeled "size 40 (womens 8)" This shoe is not a womens 8. This shoe is too big, I wish I went with common sense and got a 39 and had a smaller size to try on.

These are very comfortable Vibrams. While I was actually wanting a thicker covering for the vamp/top of the shoe, these are consequently lightweight and feel as if I am not wearing shoes at all. They do provide a bit more support than the Alitza Loop, so I am looking forward to using them for a great deal of walking. I would like to try the Trek Ascents as we do a lot of walking/hiking in the woods and think that having the thicker vamp/top section may give my foot a little more protection. The pink/red color is more of a salmon color, but I love them!

Love the V Run.. I have this exact style in a different color from a year or so ago that fit perfectly. The left foot on my new pair is tight though. I thought it was just me but then I measured them and there is a centimeter or so difference..which makes a big difference when you’re wearing a shoe that fits like a glove. Exchanging and hoping only this pair were defective

the shoe is cute, but the sole was narrow and arches too high for my rather flattish medium wide feet (with slim heel). this also seemed to cause the heel to sit off to the outside of my foot. i will say in sandals that don’t hold on to my heel, my heel often comes down off-center from the sandal in the same way so maybe i tend to overpronate or this issue is otherwise specific to me and wont be a problem for others with relatively flat feet

I received these today and they are knock offs. They have a plastic upper, not the polyester/lycra upper they are supposed to have. And they stink like toxic chemicals/glue.
I hope Zappo's can learn to tell the difference between real vibram fivefingers and knock offs so they do not send the knock offs out to customers.
