Mizuno just works for me. I have a flat foot and need a wider toe box and narrower heal to accommodate my feet and professional orthotic. This shoe is light weight and supportive. Love it.

My new favorite running shoe! Wore these out of the box for a 9 miler (not something I would usually do but it was on the calendar) and they were awesome, no issues, felt light and fast. I've tried other stability running shoes (Saucony and Brooks Adrenaline) due to severe pronation but nothing ever felt "right". I had been running in Brooks Ghost and the Brooks XT racer, both of which I love but was having achilles issues on longer runs so I knew I'd have to find something for marathon training. The only thing I don't love are the colors but when a shoe fits and runs are fun I don't really care. Will probably buy another pair for rotation. I usually wear a 6.5 in regular shoes and either 6.5 or 7 in running shoes and I ordered the 7 and they fit perfect.

The Mizuno Wave Inspire 12 is very cushiony and offers lots of arch support and stability. I ordered the 8.5 AA (I normally wear an 8 AA) and they fit perfectly. I ordered an 8.5 because I read the reviews which said to order a 1/2 size bigger and I'm glad I took that advice.

I need new sneakers to jog and have many back problems and I am near flat footed. I preferred the Mizuno Wave Rider 19 over these. But always size up with Mizuno. If you have problem with toe space the Wave Rider 19 had a little more space. I choice a completely other brand of shoes : Hoka One Clifton 3. (See my review of them)

This is really seems to be a great shoe! I'm not a runner, but my husband and I do enjoy walking the trails in our area...and my current shoe (Nike) is leaving me with sore feet, sore back, etc. after each 2+ mile walk. The other reviews indicated that this would be a good shoe for not only running but also for walking and simply being on your feet for long periods of time. I am hopeful that will be the case! (I decided to try Mizuno on the advice of a friend who has 3 pairs.)

Always on a quest to find shoes that look good and address my issues, (relatively narrow feet, no arches to speak of, and achilles pain), I feel like someone designed these with me in mind. Great stability for my over-pronating, good support, narrow in the heels, but comfortably wide in the toebox, and a removable insole so that I can use my orthotics. AND, they look great! Wish I'd found these sooner. Thank you Mizuno and Zappos.

Possibly the best running sneakers I've ever owned. I have flat feet and am extremely picky about running sneakers being comfortable and supportive. I had been wearing Brooks and didn't think I could find anything more comfortable, but Mizunos are now in the lead! Great boy outdoors and on treadmill.

This is my fourth pair of Mizuno Wave Inspires (previous pairs were the 11) and they have been consistently great. They provide good support and are cushy enough to be comfortable, but not sloppy. I walk about 5 miles a day in these and love them!

I've been wearing Mizunos for about 10 years and I'd say these are the exact same as all the others. They are narrow in the good way that hugs my foot so it doesn't slip while running. The colors are brighter in person, which I consider a good thing for a runner. Overall, if you've liked Mizuno shoes in the past, you will continue to like these.

Love these Mizunos! I have a relatively flat foot and these feel great on my arches. I know I'm a heel striker when running (no matter how hard I try to mid foot strike), especially at the end of my runs, and these give enough cushion. Wish they would get a few different colors.

I am very happy with this running shoe. It is light and yet gives really good support. I tend to pronate and this shoe makes me feel as if I have no pronation. I also like the gray and aqua color.

I generally wear 8 either B or C (wide) width. The size 8 wide were too short for me and 8.5 too wide in the heel. So, even though a nice-looking shoe, back they go!

They are cute, but not as wide as I had hoped. I wear an orthotic, which is thicker than the removeable insole in these, which might be why I can just barely lace the shoes closed. New Balance appears to have a wider shoe. I'm sad I have to send them back, but I do.

Shoe has excellent side support. It is comfortable material that hugs the foot. I ordered a half size longer. The Narrow width fit perfectly. Never heard of this maker before but would highly recommend. Would prefer a neutral color option.

Love these shoes! I have a narrow foot and the regular width was perfect. It's a comfortable snug fit and is lightweight for a stability shoe. I enjoyed my first few runs with these both outside and on the treadmill.

Wow! Thank you Mizuno for designing these shoes for those of us with narrow feet! I originally ordered the 11 (2A) but they were way too narrow. And I have very narrow feet, so be forewarned. I exchanged them for the medium and they fit great. I am so happy to have found them. And thanks to Zappos for sending them out in a day!

I have never worn a Mizuno shoe before. Always NB for this 12N foot. Love, love, love this shoe! Usually I wear an orthotics but there is plenty of well balance support in this shoe. I got them in color purple- it's the new black!

For the past five years I've been wearing NB Minimus tennis shoes. These are very lightweight and offer minimal support. The last two months, however, I've diagnosed myself with plantar fasciitis and went back to my ancient, more supportive shoes to discover much relief. Needing a new pair of athletic shoes, I ordered the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 16, these Mizuno Wave Inspire 12 and the Saucony Omni 15, all in a 10 narrow. They are all super shoes but the Brooks were the best fit for me. I really liked the way these Mizuno looked, but the edge and back came up a bit further around my foot which was just a bit uncomfortable.

When they say narrow, they mean narrow! I generally try to get narrow shoes when possible or else my heels will slide around so I was happy to see that these were available in 2A width. However, these did not work for me because although the narrow shape was great at the heel they are also very narrow through the mid foot and toe. I think that would have been a disaster had I tried to run in them. Maybe going up half a size would have helped (I was already up half a size from usual though, I do that with my running shoes) but I just returned them. I will invest the time to go to a real running shoe store to try on different sizes and models.

While this sneaker is padded and suited for motion control, I find it to be extremely heavy - even for walking.

I usually wear a 7N street shoe, and based on other reviews ordered a full size up which was the right length. Width runs narrow as other reviews also say. So they fit -- but felt like walking on concrete, so I did not want to risk running in these and hurting my shins. Maybe I could wear them in, but not worth the risk, so they are going back.
