Amazingly comfortable! Wore them all day the first day I had them (I'm a teacher, so I don't often sit down during the day) and my feet felt great. No blisters, no break in time. I ordered my usual size (women's 8.5) and they fit great.

These are the most comfortable chucks /sneakers I have ever owned including supernova cushioned adidas. I have a ton of back problems and that cushioned insole is like walking on a heavenly cloud. I wear a 9.5 womens and got the 7.5 men's because I have wide feet and they are just fabulous! I can wear these for at least 10+ hrs in New York walking with no fatigue! and I normally wear orthopedic brands like Ecco and sofft and those still aren't as comfy as these are.

Gift for our son. He said these were the best Chucks he had ever had. Fabric heavier and better and inter-sole actually has support and comfort. Good deal. Guess we will keep these on his wish list.

The original Chucks were never comfortable to me. When I saw the All Star II's with the new Lunarlon footbed thought I would give them a try and glad I did. Difference in comfort is night and day and can wear these all day. I gave them 4 stars only because they are still not up to a good, modern shoe in comfort. I went down a 1/2 size from what I normally wear in shoes. I have a wide foot and they fit fine.

I never fully appreciated getting a fresh set of kicks when I was a kid. The new All Stars are worth every penny! Zappos had them on my feet before I realized that I stepped into heaven! Great buy. Great company!

The absolute best Converse I've ever owned. They fit better, look better and last way better than my old "Chucks" plus I can walk all day in them and be alright.

My son loves these. Much more support and comfort than the usual Converse, which I find downright painful for the lack of padding.

Comfortable shoe. A little tight at first, but have become fine after a couple weeks. Only complaint is they seem to show dirt and scuff very easily. 4.5 stars if there was an option here.

I love these shoes! Unlike some of the other reviewers, I found them true to size and not too big.

I have owned Chucks before but the new Lunarlon sole is pretty comfortable. I will definitely buy more pairs of these.

I wanted to like these so much...but they make my foot look big and clunky. The great part about this style is the removable insole. My custom orthotic fit perfectly.

Excellent shoes. Huge improvement from the Converse core classics. Beefier, better materials and the lunarlon insole make this well worth the higher price. Get 'em.

These are super comfortable. My only comment is they ran a bit big for me; I usually wear 8.5/9, and ordered myself 8.5. I ended up needing an 8, which if far smaller than I would have thought. Otherwise...seriously...these are so much more cushioned than regular Chucks. Not sure I can ever go back!

The shoes is stylish and very comfy just one slight issue the black burn out easily

I love the shoes but I have only worn them about 5 times now and the Converse label on the back of one is falling off :( I have never tried a pair of the Chucks 2, but they are SO comfy with the Lunarlion insoles!

I wasn't sure if the added features of the All Star II's would be worth the extra $$$. Zappos has them on sale now which made me take the plunge. I've consistently owned Chucks for 25 years now (I'm old) and wear them at least 5 or 6 days a week (I'm boring). After wearing them to work for two weeks I can say the jury is still out on the upgraded features. The added tongue padding and insole support are nice but nothing crazy. Definitely still Chucks and not magically a pair of running shoes as far as comofrt and support. The canvas of this pair is a higher quality than the normal All Stars which is nice but time will tell if it holds up any better.

I have always been a fan of Converse Chucks and with the new Chuck II they are my new go to shoe. Better support than the typical canvas they usually are and the main material seems a little more durable. Couldn't be happier with the all black version. I always have the black with white toe so having a second pair that's all black is a perfect addition to my collection.

The Converse II has a sewn-in lining that makes for more stability than the original canvas. Also, there is a cushioned sole that gives more bounce. The stiffer upper may take a bit more breaking in but seems to have the potentail to last longer..

The new Chucks are almost as comfortable as a pair of trainers... Maybe not quite, but a huge step up from the originals. I normally wear a 12 which was a little tight in this shoe. There was no issue wearing them around the house, but I walked for more than 15 minutes the heel would rub against the back of my ankle and eventually cause a blister. I have a relatively wide foot so the issue may be that it doesn't fit in the narrow, rubber toe cap. So, maybe if you have a very thin foot they would fit true to size. Not sure. Great pair of shoes overall though.

These were my first pair of Converse. I was really excited about them, but the heal is really stiff. It's too the point that I don't want to wear them. I thought these would be as comfortable as my Nike free runs, but I was wrong! I wouldn't recommend spending the extra money on these. If you are looking for comfort, buy a running shoe.

Good idea, bad execution. So basically, these are your regular Chuck All Stars with sturdier quality and a decent insole. Which should be a good thing, but Converse did not compensate for the loss of foot room the added insole and stiffer construction takes away. The insole is quite good, but of course it raises your foot higher in the shoe and ends up feeling unbearably narrow. I ordered the same roomy size I always do in Converse - my feet are average in both length and width - and they were way too tight. I had to return them and did not bother ordering a size up since the fit seemed so unbalanced. Disappointing, as I wanted to love them because they looked great.

I love converse and these are comfy but they run small. They are very narrow and when you were socks, they feel even smaller.

I am alittle disappointed. I bought the Chuck IIs because of the new inserts with arch support. I have been wearing Chucks for about 15 years and I still like the originals. The new versions feel stiff and narrower. I will stick with the old version.
