My daughter loves these shoes! They are very comfortable and much more padding and support compared to the standard Converse. She is usually a size 5 and we had to order one size up as found they ran small. We will definitely buy these again.

Love the new chucks! I have the original but the arch support in the new version is much better for a long day on your feet. I love the style but wish they had the contrasting trim color (Navy) with the white version that they do with the classic.

After reading some reviews I wasn't sure what to expect with these shoes. Some said they felt like original chucks with Dr. Scholls inserts in them. They are much better than that. In fact they are incredibly comfortable and have become my go-to shoe. I still like the aesthetics of the original chucks, but the comfort of the chuck II trumps that.

I really love the shoes and Zappos delivered quickly and easily as usual. Zappos always has great service.

These new Converse are an improvement on the classic sneakers. They suggest that you buy a half-size smaller than normal and that worked perfectly for me. They're very comfortable and I love the nostalgic style of them.

I've been looking for a low top All Star with solid support and cushioning for ages. These definitely fit the bill. You could walk around town in these all day and your dogs won't be barking. The only grip I have is the sole doesn't have the classic black stripe, making these a bit too white on the sides for my tastes.

I was on the hunt for a pair of white sneakers and am so glad I found these. This is my first pair (ever) of Chuck Taylor All-Stars. I normally wear a size 8 and they fit true to that size. The Nike Lunarlon insole is very comfortable and there is great arch support. I got the white and will probably get another pair in grey.

I still Love Chucks! I love Chucks and now the new ones are more comfortable and have more support. They are a tad more narrow which for me is good as the regular Chucks were a bit wider than needed. The white ones really do not have any navy color that stands out so if you are looking for a solid white, go with these.

The fit is a bit snug. Will send back and request a half size larger. Hope that works.

Really nice, and comfy! I remember trying on the original Chucks some years ago, and lamenting they just didn't feel very comfortable. Ended up getting a pair of the Jack Purcell's instead, and never looked back. THESE updated Chucks are just incredible! Better than the Purcell's, and worlds better than the original Chucks. No complaints from my feet wearing them all day. Stylish. Would definitely buy again!

I bought these for my son in law and he loves them. The fit and look is exactly what he wanted. They were delivered very fast. We will definitely ordered again from Zappos.

I love the look of regular Chucks but they always end up making my feet hurt after a few hours. These are so much better than the original! They are very comfortable and true to size - there is no need to size down like regular Chucks. They do still run narrow, so if you have wider feet they may not work. I bought the gray and was surprised that they came with an extra pair of white laces. I switched the laces to white so they look more like the classics. I am so excited to wear them!

Runs large. Very comfortable with the Lunarlon footbed.Nice dark gray color. Felt narrow but that is a plus for me as I have a narrow foot.

When I heard about these having a new design with removable liner, I was thrilled. I recently developed plantar faciiatis and was worried I would never wear my beloved Converse again (I need arch support and heel support in shoes). Low and behold-the Converse All Star II. The fabric is sturdier, the interior nicely lined with the micro-suede liner (NICE!), tabs to hold the tongue of the shoe in place so it doesn't slide side to side. It has the removable liner foot bed that is very thick and supportive. I felt like I was walking with a spring in my step! I felt it in my heels and my arches. Much better than the old Converse. Overall I am satisfied with the shoe and will be breaking it in more as I go. It's been comfortable from the start though! I even like the look and the black laces with the black shoe. Fit true to size-I ordered size 9 (womens, what I wear in running sneakers too, I wear an 8.5 in Born boots and sometimes 8s in sandals depending). Please note that since the material is slightly thicker canvas and inner lining on the shoe-it will fit just a tad snugger, so thin socks may be better than thick ones. Love these!! Overall, I really like these. Got them in the gray and they pretty much go with everything. LOVE the removable insole, because I tend to have "problem feet" and burn through insoles like crazy (I work retail so I am always on my feet)! I currently have the spenco q-factor insoles on these and love them- super comfy! The only thing is honestly a style preference- I like the look of the originals more! Maybe it's nostalgia talking but the iconic stripe in the white rubber outsole being missing just throws the style off for me! Shame they are so expensive though! Chucks should be $20, these "upgraded" ones should maybe be $40!

Size: I am a 7.5 in Nike running shoes, a 6.5 to 7 in most other shoes, and the 7s fit me great. Comfort: Much better than the original chucks. Still not as comfortable as an actual athletic shoe, but these shoes meet my somewhat stringent standards. I bought to wear them commuting in hopes they wouldn't look silly with a skirt or dress. They also pass that test. They do need a little breaking-in.

A lot more comfortable than the original, especially with the added arch support. Love the all white!!

I really like the upgrades/ enhancements nike's added to chucks. Most noteworthy (for me) the lunarlon insert and solid rubber outsole. The OG brown bottoms had rubber mixed with that cloth like material that's soak up water like a sponge and they're utterly flat. The chuck II's are appealing to me but wearing them... they're too narrow for me and I find the toe box way too cramped. They're like the skinny jeans of sneakers. And I don't even have wide feet. As with all chucks I go down half a size which is normally recommended by converse so the length is fine, the cushioning is decent and the styling is classic. So I'm kind of bummed because I think they're dope but I won't get much wear out of them.

As a lifelong wearer of Chucks I was excited to try the 2's! The support in these shoes are crazy, especially for Chuck Taylors, and I've found them to be very comfortable because of the new insert. A minor complaint is the style, I really miss the black line around the shoe, I felt like the all white look was too much right out of the box. That being said these shoes are great and hold up to everyday wear quite well!

These are very comfortable, way more comfortable than the traditional Chucks I've always worn. They run true to size. The only downfall is that nice cushion is very squeaky when walking.

I'm mostly a fan of this update to an iconic shoe. Comfort and fit-wise, it's a huge upgrade with much better cushioning and arch support along with the padded tongue which doesn't bunch up and move like it did on the original Chucks. Style-wise, I think I like the white accents on the older version more. This new one is just a tad monochrome and boring, relative to the original. They still look pretty good and are versatile as ever.

These shoes feel super comfy and look great.

These were a Christmas gift for my son, and he's pretty pleased with the style and color. They are a big improvement (comfort-wise) over the Chucks I had as a kid.

Never bought "Chucks" before. I'm not big on flat sneakers, I'm a running sneaker kind of person, but these felt good. Worth the price for sure.

These shoes are stunning. That being said, I have purchased several pairs of All Stars and this is the first pair to ever cause foot pain. They may be better for those who like the All Star style but need extra support. The stay-in-place tongue is a great feature!
