Very comfortable. I usually wear L but ordered M. Columbia usually runs 1 size larger on tops. Still not tight but very loose for easy swift walking or jogging. 40UPF good for trails, even with sun blazing down youre not burdened. It is a lightweight shirt.

I was looking for a long sleeve shirt for hiking. I searched for the "best hiking shirt" and this was one of them. I read the reviews and watch some YouTube videos of people talking about this shirt and they all loved it. I took a chance, I hate buying clothes online, but I jumped in and I couldn't be happier. The shirt fits well, is light, and whisks the sweat away. Oh, it dries quickly :)

There are many reasons why the Silver Ridge Lite long sleeve shirt has almost a cult status among thru-hikers: backpackers who can afford to take only one shirt with them on the trail and therefore have to choose wisely. Comfort: the shirt has an airy, lightweight feel and the vents are unobtrusive. Cut: it's generously cut without being baggy. Durability: it can take a beating. Looks: it never needs ironing and looks great even after extensive use.

I spend a decent amount of time outdoors, yard work, hiking, etc. hot humid Nebraska, I wear when mowing to protect myself from the sun. Air flows well and sweat drys quick. 200lbs 5'9" went with a Large, a loose fit, but that's what I'm after.

As one other review already said, just buy this shirt. It is super lightweight, super comfy. Hangs very nicely and feels great. I'm getting a second just because it is such a good shirt.

Made of lightweight, durable materials that keep the sun off of sensitive skin! I bought two of these for a Carribean cruise, and they saves my skin!! I also had a pair of OmniShade pante that were great! A bit expensive, but very great shirts!

This light weight long sleeve hiking shirt by Columbia is the best I have ever owned. With UV protection and quick drying it is a great layer in any weather!!

Great, comfortable shirt. I love polyester shirts, that's almost all I wear now. These shirts look great, feels great, don't wrinkle anywhere near as much as cotton shirts, dries without wrinkling (unlike cotton shirts) and are extremely easy to clean and maintain. I just launder and hang dry (I don't heat dry polyester shirts at all) and they look and keep like new. Just be warned that these shirts run very large. I normally wear a medium, but had to buy a small. A small is like a typical slim-fit medium shirt. In fact, the small is exactly the same size a slim-fit Calvin Klein dress shirt in medium. I held them side-by-side. The medium was way too baggy and loose fitting for me.

I love these shirts. I want to get one in every color. I highly recommend

This shirt is perfect. I had great success with this shirt keeping my covered up with out the excessive heat I often feel when were long sleeved shirts. This is something I would recommend and will buy again in the future!

I splurged and got this as I normally don't spoil myself but Columbia has been kind to me. I had always wanted a shirt to hike or fish in that looked and functioned like this. This short looks good on me, the wife says I look good in the shirt :-)

This shirt is the best article of clothing I own, hands down. I bought these shirts for backpacking/camping. They keep you cool when needed and warm when it turns cooler. Rolling up the sleeves creates a short sleeve shirt. In the evening I roll them down. This shirt can be worn camping or in a business setting at work. It is the most practical shirt there is. And it breaths!

I really enjoy this shirt for hiking and backpacking. Protects me from the sun and dries quickly. So far it has been durable.

I bought this shirt for my Dad, who lives in a very hot, dry climate. I wanted something long sleeve to protect his sensitive skin but that doesn't heat up. It's the perfect shirt for the job. It also looks great - love the color (mountain). My Dad is very happy with it.

The fit of this shirt is an athletic, somewhat fitted look and feel without being restrictive. Love the fabric and how easy it is to pack for travel.

This is a great, lightweight shirt that feels very cool in the summer. Does everything promised, but I usually wear large in Columbia tops and I had to exchange this for a medium.

A great shirt to have, comfortable, fresh and it looks really nice all around, I bought 2 of these, one in white and the other graphite, both look very nice. It fits a little big but it really does not bother me much since the purpose of these shirts is to keep comfortable.
