I really wanted to like these shoes. Once I found the fit (had to go 1/2 size smaller then usual) they felt great. Problem was that I wanted these to be good for going into water or get wet, as they kind of advertise in pictures. When I got them wet, they felt comfortable but they took too long to dry. I had them sitting out in sun and in 20 mph wind and then overnight, and they were still wet next day. I ended up drying them with a air dryer so I could wear them, and even after 20 minutes of that, they still felt a little damp in the heel. Overall they are a great shoe but don't expect to get these wet and then dry quick. For the money I felt they were not worth it after that experience and made the return.

Very wide

These shoes are very comfortable. However, a major problem I’ve encountered with at least three pairs is that the laces, which are pre-laced, stretchable nylon, break after some time. My work around has been to remove all the shoe laces and use them lace-less, which looks odd.

Great fit, comfortable shoe - but not at all durable.

Toe was was too big for normal width and material is very wrinkly. Soles are squeaky on wood and tile floors

These are expensive for how often they need to be replaced due to toe coming through top. I’ll buy another pair, but am not happy about it. They last about a year for me.

Returned this shoe... had purchased for husband. He said the foot-bed was not supportive / not comfortable. While the length of the shoe was fine, the width in the toe box was weird and had some gaping that was not attractive. Sadly did not take a picture before the shoe was returned.

Bought these hoping that the stretchy uppers would accommodate my wide foot. The problem is the footbed/last is too narrow. I should have sent them back but wore them so I kept them. They sit in my closet.

I'm so unsatisfied with this purchase. How can a shoe's sizing be so bad that just going just one half size up or down can mean the difference between my foot rattling around in the shoe (too big) to pressure on my big toe (too tight)??? I should have skipped purchasing them altogether, but reading reviews convinced me to buy the smaller size. They fit fine in the house, but after my trip to the beach, the shoes are uncomfortably tight. Waste of $95.

Not a bad shoe. This is my 2nd Olukai. Takes a few of weeks to break in the insole but once it does it's comfortable.

I ordered these for my son, he liked the style but they were just too big. His heel slipped significantly so we had to return them.

I had high hopes for these shoes. They fit properly and everything is as you would expect. But I don't think they're worth the money, compared to other brands. The footbed is pretty hard, almost like walking on the floor without any cushion. And the bootie has zig-zag stitching around the edges that rub on your feet. Since these are meant to be worn without socks, they should have smoother stitching. Lastly, they're pretty heavy (although that wouldn't be a reason to return them). I have a similar pair of shoes made by Skechers, and the difference in comfort is significant. The only reason I wanted something different is to have something more breathable for hot weather situations. The truth is that if I had shopped in a store and compared these to other brands, I probably wouldn't have bought them, especially considering the price. I'm returning these for a pair of Columbia Marlin PFG shoes. I must say that Zappos customer service was amazing in this exchange. So I'll definitely continue shopping with Zappos.

Those are faux laces - that wasn't clear to me. Styling seem good and looked well-made but I returned due to poor fit for me.

ended up returning. shoe toe tapered out looking like duck fin/croc profile. not my thing. was hoping for more of a tapered sneaker profile.

Shoe upper is an elastic material wasn't snug to my foot to start, allowing the shoe to slip around while walking. The laces are fixed elastic with no way to tighten them. I liked the style, but not enough to replace insoles (one of Olukai's strengths) to try to make them fit.

I am actually astonished at how uncomfortable these are... just super hard and uncomfortable, and I have very easy feet and buy off-the-rack in all brands - never complain kinda guy. They look nice, and I've had compliments already, but like are-you-kidding-me bad comfort. I bought two pairs in different colors and so it wasn't a one-off manufacturing error. When I put the first pair on I honestly thought maybe they forgot the insole/footbed or something, but both pairs are equally awful.

The shoes themselves looked great. But no support. It actually hurt my feet, especially the navicular area to wear them. Ended up throwing them out and would not buy again.

Returned as they were too large. Slipped off while walking.

My husband loved these shoes for boating season but after only a few months the mesh started to split along the sole. Olukai's website said they had a warranty and Zappos was great to work with in return process. Trying a different style of Olukai that isn't mesh along the seam and hoping the hold up better.

I found these sneakers to be very uncomfortable. No support at all. I also did not realize that they were a slip-on so there is no way to tighten them up. If I had not worn them for a day I would have returned them.

As a 30+ year wearer of Sperry boat shoes, I'm looking for a good alternative since Sperry's quality has seemed to slip in recent years. I don't think these OluKai are the replacement I'm looking for. They don't seem to offer enough cushion for a rough day of offshore fishing, though I did like the materials and construction of the uppers. I ordered size 10 and these felt a bit too loose in width and length so I returned them. I usually wear a 10 in Sperry and up to 11 in some other brands/styles. I wear a size 45 cycling shoe, for comparison.

Very light weight. Is actually a slip-on. The laces are fixed and elastic. I have a high instep so they were difficult to slip on. But the main reason I am returning them is because you can feel the lumps of the outer sole through the footbed. It's a bit like walking on soft pebbles.

They looked fine, but minimal cushioning, and no heel to speak off. Felt odd, like I was walking on my heels more than normal. I returned them, will stick to my Allbirds.
