I got this jacket to replace my previous waterproof jacket. I like the color and it looks stylish.

Great for wet spring weather, but I bought a belted trench coat hoping the style would be less boxy than my other rain gear. It isn't. Excellent quality though.

Nice look, but the arms around the wrist are not adjustable and are huge. Overall too big. Never know what size will fit best, but it was very boxy around the waist.

The style was OK - like a long version of a regular NF rain jacket. However, it runs small and seemed too tight to comfortably wear with layers underneath. Also, it was slim at the bottom which made it hard to walk in (although you could unzip it from the bottom as it has a double zipper). The thing I couldn't abide was the stiff tie in the middle, which serves no purpose except to cinch the waist, otherwise it just just out stiffly from the coat. On the plus side, it has a small zippered pocket near the cuff of the right sleeve which would be perfect for a metro pass or something like that. Sadly, this one's going back.

Cute jacket but the hoodie portion is too small for my head which meant my face and hair get wet in the rain.

I've had this raincoat for 6 months, and have been disappointed. It has good waterproofing and is stylish, but the hood is designed poorly. Living in Chicago, one of my main reasons for wearing a raincoat is that it is too windy for an umbrella and I need/want a hood to cover my hair and shield my face. This hood just falls back off my face in a mild breeze or when I'm walking to work. The hood adjusts to pull back from the face, but that defeats the purpose of the hood. I need to use an umbrella with this raincoat or hold the hood over my head when I walk. My previous raincoat had a hood with a drawstring around the face and a little brim. I'm going to look for something like that next time I buy a raincoat.

Returned and bought a different North Face jacket that I love!

Really cute jacket, lightweight. I would order a size up if you want to layer.

This product is ridiculously priced for its function.

no good if you can't use it like a trench

I called a North Face brick and mortar store to confirm this trench has a two way zipper as described. It does not! Too bad for me...I use a wheelchair and of course sit and need the two way zipper to allow the coat to lay properly!!!!! So hard to find rainwear without a zipper!!!! The world has gone zipping mad! But for those who prefer a single zip....order away!
