This is a really nice coat, the price is really steep, but when you think about what your actually getting I think the price is fair. With it being a 3 in 1, the fleece is a really nice touch because its perfect for bay area weather. Just fleece for it just being cold, shell on fleece when it's raining. Plus, you can't beat the lifetime warranty.

Ordered this online and had sent to my daughter in college. The sizing chart was very helpful! My daughter loves it! Also, the fact that liner can be removed and used in warmer weather is great! Would definitely recommend to anyone who deals with cold weather.

California's winter has been unusually bitter, in the low 30s (this is cold for where I'm from). I've worn this jacket in heavy rain and high winds and stayed completely dry, without being too warm. I've also taken it to the Tahoe area in light snow with the inner shell and just a baselayer on, and I was still warm and comfortable after changing out of my heavy snowboarding jacket. The velcro sleeves were a plus: they kept the cold out and the heat in, and were able to fasten over my gloves. This jacket fits well without being too bulky, and I plan to take it everywhere!

I would recommend that you order this jacket one size up. That way you can wear sweatshirts/sweaters comfortably underneath. They way the weather changes here it is nice to have a jacket that can keep you warm and dry at the same time.

The jacket was great. Definitely good quality and it was exactly what I was expecting. It fits very well. Last year a bought a simple black jacket but the shape was very Square. I thought it had to do with the design. Turns out I needed to go down a size. This jacket fits perfectly. Definitely plan on buying a raincoat on here soon.

I'm really impressed with this jacket - it's replacing a dearly-loved falling-apart older coat, so my standards are pretty high. Agonized over whether to order a medium (as recommended by TNF's size chart) or a large; ordered both and opted to go with the large. I'm 5'8" and 130 lbs, but - thanks to genetics and swimming - broad through my shoulders. The medium fit over a lightweight fleece shirt, but didn't allow for good range of arm motion. It would've been way too tight over a sweater. The large is a little looser around my hips than I'd prefer, but can be cinched tighter if needed. Love the color combo (budding and laurel wreath green); actual product color looks as expected, based on the product photos.

If you need a jacket for anything just get this. It's all you'll ever need.

Good jacket for rain inner layer for normal wear

Whenever the weather takes a turn, this is the jacket I grab! Thanks to winter storm Jonas, I'm getting a lot of use out of this jacket. I'd recommend this jacket for casual around town use to skiing and snowboarding. It looks great with my north face snow pants. I get compliments on my colorful triclimate jacket ever time I where it out. I'd recommend this jacket for rain, snow, chilly/cold weather. You can't beat looking stylish, while staying warm and comfortable. This jacket is fantastic, 100% recommend!

Bought this for my wife and she loves it. Has a nice slim fit. Not too bulky. Inner fleece is perfect for spring weather.

I wear it daily now because it's my most warmest and comfortable jacket. It does its job very well of protecting me.

I bought my first North Face jacket a few months ago and fell in love with the quality. This 3 in 1 jacket is perfect. On days where its not too cold ill wear the inside layer which is extremely comfortable and i love the fit. On colder or rainy/gloomier days ill zip the shell to the inside layer and it keeps me super warm and the rain doesn't even phase me in this. I also love the full zip pockets.

I wear my product everyday. Its so warm and I love it! its the best jacket! I also wear it when I run outside no matter what the weather is! Its perfect.

I bought this 3 in 1 jacket for my mom and she loved it! When she opened the box she was excited to try it on. What was really neat is that the jacket separates into two jackets you can wear separately: A fleece and a windbreaker. The price was definitely worth it as well, so I'll definitely buy myself one in mens

Love this jacket! Ordered the green and I love the color combination. I live in !Michigan and recently wore this in January and was plenty warm. It's not for sub zero temps but was great when temps were in the upper 30's, windy, and drizzly.
