This is an awesome jacket for anyone on the go! Comfort and protection from sudden weather changes. I live in Massachusetts and we can have sun one minute, clouds and chilly winds the next, and then sudden rain! This jacket is lightweight, fits easily in my backpack, and fits well by itself but also fits easily over a sweatshirt. This is my "go-to" jacket for everything, being a student, a mom and, from running errands to heading into work, this jacket covers all bases for me! I went out the next day and bought one for my daughter!

I use this jacket during rainy days or in the winter. It keeps you warm, protects from winds and keeps you dry.

Took this jacket with me on a recent trip to hike The Narrows. Went the 2nd week of September so it was the tail end of summer, a bit cooler. Since you are wading in calf high water the entire hike (sometimes thigh high when crossing certain areas), you never really get dry and the water is quite chilly. There are also a lot of shaded parts of the hike so I ended up wearing the jacket about 2/3 of the trip with my shorts and tank top. It was so comfy and allowed me to move around and climb on some rocks and boulders without feeling restricted. With the hood still tucked away, it provided more padding and insulation around my neck too! It was also handy at the campsite because at night it got chilly and at times quite windy. This jacket was perfect to block the wind and as mentioned before, the high neck added more warmth with the hood still tucked away. For me, this was a great investment because I don't make very large purchases. You can easily roll it up and pack it in a backpack. This jacket will definitely cross over into my casual lifestyle since it is lightweight. Living in San Diego, you never need too heavy of a jacket!

It's a great jacket and the colors are perfect! It's a little bit tighter than the other resolve jackets I have but not a big deal.

My old rain jacket was given to someone who needed it more than I did so I desperately needed a new one, as recently we have been getting alit of rain where I live which is alaska. My old rain jacket was the original resolve and I liked it a lot. I didnt mind the velcro closure but I must admit on the resolve plus it does make it a lot less bulky without it. I decided to go with the grey and I live it. Its a very interesting grey color. It almost has a hint of purple it seems which I'm cool with because purple is my favorite color :). I got the grey because it seems like all my jackets are black so overall it was a great pick.. It fits very comfortably. The fabric is very strong and thick compared to the flyweight jacket. It actually keeps me very warm with the linned mesh and I got mine a size larger so I can do layers with hoodies and what not. One negatove thing i will mention is that in yhe description of the jacket it says it has a media compatible pocket but it does not. I thought maybe it was just an error on this jacket but the one i had befoe this one didnt have one either(i exchange the white black and they for the solid grey) i have wriiten the nirthface to let them know they may want to update the description. Overall I'm very satisfied with this jacket and would reccomend.

I love this jacket. It keeps me dry and warm on even the rainiest days. I like that the hood can be folded up to stay out of the way

I bought this for a trip to Mendoza, Argentina. But it's so comfy that I decided to wear in my every day life, every time it's cold enough to do so.

We purchased this jacket in Rabbit Grey and it's really nice looking and stylish. In size M, it has ample room to layer it with a cozy liner jacket or even a sweatshirt. Love this!

I bought this for my grandaughter who wanted one just like her older brother's. They had just come from a trip out West and her older raincoat was both unattractive and did not hold up to Oregon weather. I chose North Face because I have owned their clothing and hiking gear over the last several decades and found them to be of consistently high quality. I find their prices to be fair and actually very inexpensive if you because their products will last a lifetime with a little care. I hate buying cheap throwaway outdoor items--it is a waste of money and you end up buying something over and over again instead of having something that just keeps on going no matter what.
And the best part for my grandaughter was that the jacket fit beautifully, and was even better looking on her because it was styled for a woman not a redesign of a man's jacket.

This is the perfect rain jacket. I would say the fit is an improvement from the resolve: the hood fits well, the sleeves are the right length, and the inside feels comfy against my skin. I usually wear an XS, but the S fits better in this jacket. Maybe other a size up. My only complaint is that when I zip it all the way up, the middle part of the zipper bulges out a bit, but this isn't a huge deal. This is definitely the comfiest and best fitting rain jacket I've owned.

I have yet to find something bad about this jacket. I just recently bought it, and it really comes in handy. I can use it out with my friends, not feel like I can't move in it, and it looks great. I rarely work out but this jacket makes it look like I do. As far as it goes for college, it's not overpriced or wildly expensive for someone already on a budget.

She loved it! Fit perfectly around her curves and narrow waist. Sleeve length was just right and amazing colors. We are having it monogrammed in her to-be married initials.

I am pretty impressed with this jacket. First there is no velcro on the sleeves and there is no front placket in front of the zipper, so I love that. I wasn't duly impressed with the color combinations offered but mainly I needed something to wear to keep me dry as I spend a lot of time outdoors for my job and recreation. It is great for day hikes but not one of those fold into a pocket type of jackets so it has some stability and yet still lightweight. I love the length as it covers my butt isn't so long you would consider it a parka.

Not only is this an awsome rain jacket it's cute to boot! The quality is spot on as I've come to expect from North Face attire, and I haven't been disappointed yet. This is a great addition to my wardrobe and I'll get a lot of use out of it. Keep up the good work!

I've worn the jacket only once so far, but appears great for use as a rain jacket. I plan to use it while bike riding, when I really can't hold onto to an umbrella. Appears lightweight enough to wear when its warm outside and enough protection against the wind to keep warm when its cooler outside.
