I wear my jacket just about every time I leave the house, I get tons of compliments each time I wear it too! My teenagers even loved the jacket, so we all own one now. I'd recommend this jacket over any others for sure. Great job North Face with this one

This jacket is amazing. Super sleek fitting and I love the higher neck. I'd feel great wearing this to work or on a hike. Despite what other reviewers said, I wouldn't size up. I usually wear a small and the small fits perfectly--I am 5'6 117 lbs with broad shoulders.

Nice color. Runs small. Purchased size M and couldn't zip it over my hips. Collar was too bulky with the way the hood folded over. Returning. Purchased a different North Face rain jacket in the store on sale in size L and much happier with the fit.

Wore this in the Smokey Mountains on a 5hr RT trek to a waterfall, in the falling snow. It would have been a 12hr RT but the road to the trailhead was closed due to icy conditions & I had to come up with a new plan. The jacket was clutch for keeping dry- since giant snow was clump-falling from the trees. Pictured is me wearing it in The White Mountains earlier in the year, in the rain. I wear it whenever it's raining in Boston. Standing as far away from street puddles as possible, some how I always get super splashed by cars flying through a yellow light. This jacket is a GREAT fit, and it moves well. Worth it!

Love this jacket! I needed something right away as we were leaving to Europe in a couple of days and I knew it would be raining in Amsterdam and did not want to take a big rain coat. I didn't have time to go to a brick and mortar that had this particular jacket so I found it on Zappos. Ordered a medium and a small and the small fit perfectly! And I was able to return the medium. Zappos makes everything so easy!! This jacket was perfect for our trip! The jacket and Zappos saved me and made my trip even better! But keep in mind it's not insulated so it's a light rain jacket. If it's cold outside, you'll need warm clothing underneath. But it does keep you perfectly dry!

I previously bought this jacket in size Large. It was always a bit tight but I kept it. I recently purchased same jacket in XL and it fits perfectly. This jacket does run small. The only thing I don't like about it is the sleeves are way too long. I would recommend this jacket though.

I typically wear a L. Used the website sizing guide and the guide recommended I buy an XL based on previous customers and whether or not they returned the jacket for a larger size. Glad I followed the recommendation because the jacket fits very nicely. The sleeves are slightly long but that's no big deal. Very comfortable jacket.

My daughter loves this jacket. Bright, cheery and chic! Came just in time for the rain. More rain please!!!

This jacket is quite nice. It's Perfect for Buffalo's unpredictable temperatures and very stylish.

I am very happy with this jacket! I usually wear medium and that's the size I ordered. It fits beautifully! I'm tall (5' 8") so I was worried about the sleeve length, but I'm happy to say the length is perfect. Most jacket sleeves are kind of short for me. This definitely isn't a jacket for cold weather/climates, but works great if you layer underneath it. It'll be a great addition to my trip to Ireland this spring, as I'll be doing lots of hiking. Highly recommend.

I have been wearing this jacket from the car to the coffee shop in pouring rain, on long walks & short runs around my neighborhood in mist, and on a windy beach stroll. I find it keeps me surprisingly warm for being so thin, but it doesn't seal in the heat when I'm sweating. The hood is awesome because it covers my glasses and the length is perfect. I love that the pockets have zippers and that the hood can be stowed away (though, in PNW winter/spring, that may not be necessary for awhile). Overall, I'm in love.

This would've been an everyday rain jacket if the sleeves were not so long! The quality and fit were good but because of the long sleeves I had to send the jacket back. I have many NF coats of all sorts and sizes that fit good but I have found the long sleeves to be a problem these last few years when I try to get another one.

I was really happy with this raincoat until the inside of the pockets ripped. I didn’t have anything sharp inside except for my keys. Now I can’t put anything in the pockets without things sliding into the lining of the coat. I bought the same raincoat in 2014 and didn’t have this problem. Besides this the coat is comfortable and flattering.

The pocket zipper broke the first time I wore this. I contacted customer service and was told to email a picture of the zipper. I did so and was then told the resolution is for me to fill out a form and pay for shipping to have this fixed under the warranty. Extremely disappointed.

The excellent jacket

This is a great, lightweight rain shell. I can pack it easily, and it's been great at keeping me dry on backpacking trips and long hiking days. Only downside is that it has no interior pocket and the lining of the left hand pocket already has a hole in it after a little over a month of use.

Purchased for college and having to go class to class in the rain and for football games. It fits perfect, is light-weight and is stylish. I cannot wait to wear it! I'm assuming based on other reviews, it'll keep me dry and warm.

I have not gotten to wear this jacket, due to living in the hot mojave desert, but I am stoked to wear it to a trip to Seattle! Things I noticed when I tried it on: -I love the elastic at the wristband to keep rain out! AND the sleeves are actually long enough for my long arms. -I like the hood, which you can tighten/loosen from the bungy at the back. - I also like the length, as it still covers the widest part of my hips fully zipped, without being too long. - Fits perfectly (I am 5'7" 135lb and I got the small) but I still have room to move, even when fully zipped. Lifting arms over head is do-able compared to some jackets etc. I will have to write another review once I get a chance to test it in the rain.

I love this. It's comfortable, very light. Works for everyday wear. I have always loved Northface.

Nice jacket, keeps you protected from the rain, nice fit as well.

I went to an outdoor concert and this was the perfect accessory when it began to rain. It keep my top half dry and it is airy enough so I wasn't hot. The hood and pockets are wonderful.
