I have wanted these for over 2 years now, and normally wear a 8.5 narrow/medium width sandal. The heel of my foot went to the back of these size 9, and after wearing a few days around the house they were still very uncomfortable. The straps were tight around my foot and the piece between the toe was extremely uncomfortable. I don't know if these take a while to break in, but didn't want to take the chance of keeping any longer and having an issue with returning. I was highly disappointed with these to say the least.

I had to return them because they were a 1/2 size to small. I wish they had an 11.5. Insert sad emoji here.

The arch support was fine. I apparently have a wide foot & have trouble finding flip flops that are wide enough that the side of my foot doesn’t hang off. I ordered a size larger hoping that would help, but it didn’t.

These are cute flip flops but they are way too narrow. I held them up to the other OluKai flip flops I own and they are almost 1/2 inch more narrow at the arch. My foot hung over the base at the widest part of my foot, from about 1/3 of the way down my foot to half way down. The strap is very skinny. Also, there seemed to be less give in the "thong" part, so that it was not easy to just slide my foot into the flip flop and have enough room from the strap to the top of my foot. Finally, the "thong" or part between my toes hurt when walking, probably because of the reasons above. I'm going back to the leather OluKai's with the stitching on them.

Cute and simple, but unfortunately the leather between the toes is too firm causing discomfort.

Wanted to love these. Ordered both the black and brown and for some reason the leather straps on the brown version were way more soft, supple and comfortable. The leather on the black ones is hard, scratchy and uncomfortable - and the "leather" thong part between the toes feels like cardboard/sandpaper. Maybe a defect on this pair? Also they are narrow - and I have a fairly narrow foot. I'm going to try a size up to see if that helps. Returning the scratchy black ones. At this price, and for the slim amount of actual leather on these sandals (only the straps, mind you), the price seems high. The soles/bottoms are comfy though.

Really wanted to like these to have a nicer looking flip flop option but these were so tight on my foot. I have never had issues with flip flops feeling tight/too snug, but even after wearing them around the house for a bit, i still felt like they were digging into my skin (fit fine everywhere else). Unfortunately I will be returning them.

Usually love this brand, but these are a bit off form the usual comfort of OluKai. The footbed is rigid, and the thong part rubs mercilessly on the skin between my toes after just a few steps. They are also the noisiest flip-flops I've ever worn. I hate to send them back but they'd just glare at me from the closet if I kept them.

These are very cute, but seem flimsy and a little cheap. The straps are so thin they don't seem like they would hold up under any normal force (moving or twisting of foot)– or last very long. I think the straps would stretch out and/or break. And the soles are rubber instead of leather. (which seems like a contradictory contrast with the nice leather straps.) Please, Olukai, bring back the Kumu! It was beautiful, comfortable, sturdy, and elegant leather all around - with a fabulous smooth leather sole! The Paniolo comes close, but not quite. The Ho'opio, not even close. Sadly had to return.

I loved the look and fit of these flip flops.....but the moment I walked in them on my tile floor at home they were so hard and uncomfortable that I whipped them off again!

I know many people love this brand, which made me try them. Sadly, there is not enough arch support for me. Also, with a thin narrow foot, the top of the sandal was too high and loose for me. I appreciate Zappos return policy.

The toe part was scratchy and uncomfortable.

Luv flip flops, 2nd pair (1st ones got left on a beach? Very Disappointed these fell apart right around the year mark & my others I had for 5 years & they still looked new ???

I am a huge Olukai fan and only wear their flip flops. these arrived (I have another pair from last year) and these fit so narrow and tight that I had to return them. sad - because they are cute.

They’re nice looking sandals and fit tts but the toe thong is really uncomfortable. I will get very minimal use of them.

New styles are TOO narrow. I do not have a wide foot. I have been buying the same size olukai flip flops in multiple styles for YEARS. Always great fit and wonderful arch support. In the past few years they have changed and now there is only ONE style that fits the old way - Paniolo.

For a sandal that can't figure out what "9" means, you better make them in 1/2 sizes.

This was the 2nd model of Olukai I tried out (tried Kulapu Kai). Like the Kulapus, these ran a full size too small. I have 2 pairs of the Paniolo in size 6 that fit perfectly, but had to size up to a 7. I really liked the styling more on the Kulapu Kais and wished they had fit better. Straps were too snug on top, and bottom where strap attached to foot was uncomfortably rubbing my foot. The Ho'Opios were just not worth the cost considering the thin leather straps and man-made soles. Thanks to Zappos for their free returns. I was very disappointed but may just decide to get another pair of Paniolos in the java that I've been wanting, and loved the java in both Kulapa Kai and Ho'Opio.

These run small. I like them but I don't love them. They make a "flopping" noise which is odd because they run small and are not loose. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to order another pair one size up.

I WANTED to love these! I really wanted to love these sandals but the piece between the toes was irritating just walking across my bedroom. I knew I would be sorry over the long haul. A nicely designed sandal. Simple and just what I was looking for - but alas - back they went!

The width was too tight.

I love this brand and have worn them for years. For some reason this particular style is very narrow under the foot and my toes want to hang off the side. I have normal to narrow feet so it’s a little strange. I’m afraid if I go up a size the strap will be too lose.

These are very cute and the silver and bronze are beautiful colors. However, they are terribly uncomfortable. I was very disappointed, given all the great reviews. I tried the Ohana in this brand and it is very comfortable, but these hurt just to walk to the next room. The base of the shoe is really heavy and they do not stay on very good. My feet are long and thin, so they might fit better on others. Mostly what I don't like is the heavy bottom, its not comfortable in a flip flop.

So frustrating! I had the exact slap in a different color/print, but this shoe is far to Narrow! My entire pinky toes and part of foot hang off the edges?. Typically I'm a size 9 to 9.5 med to slightly wide width. I ordered a size 10 (my last pair were 1/2 too long, but width was fine). This pair the leather straps were tight, the foot bed was very narrow, and the length fit my foot perfectly. I'm so disappointed as This is a very comfortable shoe with nice arch support, with a slightly heavy, but durable sole. My previous pair, however, separated from the toe strap after 6 months of wearing, I believe maybe due to the heaviness and denseness of the sole vs the lightweight strap material with the typical opposing forces of walking (pressure on strap pulling away from sole as is typical with any slaps :(

I ordered a 9 and they did not fit. Reordered a 10 and they fit but just didn’t feel right. There was not enough support for my feet. For the first he money they were not worth the asking price.
