Straps are super tight!

Unfortunately, the fit was tight. Lack of arch support may be contributing. Straps were not adjustable to fix the problem. Have to go with a better supportive sandal.

The shape and material of the foot bed is very comfortable. The leather is nice and the sandals seem well made. However, I could not get the leather strap and buckle on the left sandal to meet up at the back of my left foot. The strap was cut much too short. The right sandal fit perfectly. Otherwise I would keep these. I may try and order another pair and maybe I'll be lucky and both the left and right will fit. Quality control issue?

I was so looking forward to these but despite ordering a half size larger, the straps by mytoes were way to tight. Could barely get my foot all the way in and then it was very uncomfortable, especially the side of the big toes on both feet. Had much better luck with the similar Volatile Kimmon, which I ordered in the next whole size up.

These are terrible sandals. I usually wear keen or merrells- wanted to try a different brand. The sole is plastic tnat does bend w movement, but offers zero contour to the foot like the keens do. The straps dig in places- no matter how adjusted- and the sides of the leather straps are sharp, like freshly cut w a sharp blade. They are a cute style but ultimately are just poor design- not made for wearing all day maybe just for an outing for a couple hours. I Can't figure out the positive reviews. If a Sandal has to be adjusted for 20 min just to be tolerable, it's not a good product.

I was super excited for these because I thought they were going to be super comfortable as well as cute. I ordered a size up, after reading other reviews about them being small/tight, so I wasn’t bothered by the length being a tad longer than I’d like. However, this still didn’t help with the tightness of the straps. The worst part was toe strap. I wear flip flops constantly and am used to toe straps of all kinds (thick, thin, leather, suede, nylon etc.) and these are quite possibly the most uncomfortable I’ve encountered. The toe strap on these shoes are sewn into place, so there’s really no flex and they feel very tight on the big toe, even if you’re not walking. I probably would have kept these shoes is the toe strap was different, but they weren’t the most comfortable in general, so the price wasn’t even justified.

These sandals did not match my foot shape at all. I have wide feet with moderate bunions. I couldn't even really get my foot in the sandal even though it was the right size. The sole may have been comfortable but I really didn't have the opportunity to try it. The strap placement was just really uncomfortable for my foot shape.

Inconsistent fit. Too narrow. Straps too tight. I ordered 3 pairs of these in different colors. Same size. 2 of them fit perfectly but 1 (the color I liked) felt way too tight around the straps. I have very skinny narrow feet. Returning them all. Will reorder another pair in color I like with hopes that they will randomly fit.

I returned these - the sandals look cute - but I did not like the way they fit upon trying them on. The toe loop at front was very wide - which did not look right. I normally take a 7.5-8 medium (sneakers usually 8) and I ended up ordering these in an 8 - which were way too long at front. I wasn't sure if the 7 would have worked, I figured that might be too small. Wish they had half sizes. I think the 7 would have fit better than the 8 though for me, these run large. As far as arch support - there is minimal - I don't think walking for many hours in these would be comfortable - but hard to know. I also felt the price was too high for these.

Quality of leather is disappointing.

The toe ring bothered me so I needed to send them back.

I am sad to have to return these. The strap is just too short and does not tuck into the belt loop, even on the second hole, and the loop does not slide. I am a true size six, but buckling on the third hole, which is the only one that allows the strap to tuck into the loop, was way too tight. I can't understand why they would make the strap so short and the loop unmovable. You'd definitely need to go a half size up to make these work, if you don't want the strap flapping around.

I never thought of my big toes as unusually wide, but on these sandals, they felt like they were being strangled! Besides that, this seems like an ok sandal, albeit on the more casual side.

Although it's a super cute sandal compared to all the others, this is not right for my foot shape. Having a slight bunion on the inside of my feet makes it tough to wear a sandal with certain cut outs. It also wasn't comfortable for me to put my big toe in a non-adjustable loop. Unfortunately I'm returning this.

Good on length and width, with super soft leather! But the way the straps hit on my little toe! I could not keep my toe from popping out the side. But worth trying on! Maybe they will fit your foot shape! Seriously! The leather is SO soft!

These are nice sandals true to OluKai, but they did not work for me. I generally always wear a size 8 and ordered the 8. The fit (length and width) was fine. The sole is just like their flip-flops. The problem was with the strap that goes over the top of your foot and connects to the buckle. It just does not seem long enough to me. Or there is some flaw to the design. No amount of adjusting seems to make them work. The last hole is too loose (and it does not tuck into the strap holder at that position). Adjusting tighter made the buckle hit my ankle in an uncomfortable way. Will be returning.

At first this sandal was not completely comfortable when I tried walking in it. I really hoped it would improve with time because it had such a good look to it. I've been wearing it for short periods of time and it's getting better. The strap over the top of my left foot rubs on a bone on the top of that foot and a couple of the other straps rub at times. I adjusted the strap a couple of times so it fits looser which has helped some. but it is still a bit of a problem. The arch support is good. I have a high arch. It stays on very well. I'm hoping it continues to improve. I'd really like to keep these sandals. They are the best looking sandals I have found.

I really wanted to like these! I've owned a pair of OluKais before (flip flops) and loved them. I expected to love these too and was hopeful that so many reviews said they were good for wide feet. My feet are on the wide side of normal - if there's a wide option, I'll take it, but I can make regular width shoes work too. Unfortunately it was the big toe loop that gave me problems. Apparently I have a big big toe? I'm sure that they would stretch a little thanks to the leather, but since they're not inexpensive, I didn't want to take the chance. I had to send them back :-(

The buckle is in a very weird place. And when on the last or next to last hole, it won't fit in the loop to secure the strap. So it flops weird and looks unfinished. I'm returning. They fit great though everywhere but that silly strap. I'm an 8.5, and I ordered the 8. It was a perfect fit... If only the strap worked. Sigh.

Didn't care for the color combination. The sole seemed to bend upward, making me walk very flat footed. Sadly returned. Thank you ZAPPOS.

Unfortunately, having to send back. My narrow foot is swimming around in the straps. Tried a smaller size in a different color, and straps fit over foot, but was buckled in last hole,and the end of the strap was not tucked in properly. It meant the only thing keeping them on my foot in the back was the pin of the buckle.

Straps were very tight and the back strap was to tight but shoe size was correct. Beautiful color and felt good on but straps don't work for me. You need a slender foot on top to wear these.

I purchased this sandal wanting to wear it on my international trip. The sandal was a good fit everywhere except the ankle area, which was too loose for me. The straps across the foot and the toe strap were perfect and comfortable/secure without being too snug. I did the ankle strap at the closest loop hole but even then the sandal felt too big. If I sized down, I'm pretty sure the straps across the foot would've been too tight. It's a shame, because the sandal itself is really cute! I walked around the house to see if I could deal with the loose ankle strap and I just couldn't. :( Also, the sandal isn't as cushy as I was hoping it'd be. I could feel the floor underneath me as I was walking. I'm used to wearing a leather double layer Rainbow flip flop, so I think I need a sandal with a thicker cushion or platform.

My feet are so bad, that for me to write a review is probably nonsense. However, my friend insisted I try these shoes--they are the most comfortable on earth, cute, cheap bla bla bla. Well the foot bed is not so great in my opinion. My foot is (real)narrow & these could not be cinched up enough. ZAPPOS!! WE NEED MORE CUTE REAL NARROW SHOES!! Ok. So while I think the shoe is ok--maybe more than ok--its not the greatest thing on earth. Feels real plastic, and just does not compare at all the footbed of my SAS sandels. (SAS is a lot more pricey too). All said, my review is just what I think of the shoe, and my feet are bad, so all in all, I would say the shoe is ok--but not for somebody with problem footsies!
