Excellent pants. Comfortable and lightweight, easily rolled up in the heat. I will use long underwear for cold weather. Fabric is soft and quick drying but has a nice feel, not like those slick fabrics that feel like they are made from materials not found on earth. They fit well. I bought size 8-Short and am 5'4", 134 pounds, 29 1/2" inseam. The sage green is a good versatile color, subtle, looks good with black. The zipper pocket is perfect for money & credit card. Only drawback: side pockets are not quite big enough for my iPhone 6s but that phone is so heavy I carry it in a fanny pack anyway. Would definitely buy again. Wish they carried slate grey.

The old Horizons were my "go-to" pants for summer. There are cut differently, with a higher waist (good) but baggier legs and are missing the great little zippered pocket on top of the right pocket. I thought they would do, so ordered several. However, on wearing the first pair, I noticed that the material felt very scratchy after a while. After washing, this did not improve and they are actively uncomfortable. Also, perhaps because they are now treated to be water repellant, they are do not breathe and are hotter in warm weather. I am keeping the pair I wore but returning the others.

I like the color, but thats it. These pants were pretty baggy and made a lot of noise when you walked. They also had a fabric that was itchy to my legs. I had to return.

work-environmental educator , hiking walking. This is my all time favorite hiking pant-I literally tried on 40 pairs to find a good fit and were flattering. Many tend to be too short in the crotch for me. I wore these pants for 5 straight days canoeing the Yukon River. I do not like zip off pants as the zipper rubs and irritates me, the button up feature on legs on this pant works great for me. The fabric has held up for several years and does not pill. This is my 4th pair. They wash well and dry quickly. I wear a size 8 when I weigh 140 and a 10 when I am 150lbs. I am 5'6" and the regular is a great length.

These pants are perfect for almost anything (possibly could be "dressed-up" with scarves, accessories, etc.if needed). Excellent for outdoor activities! Also for everyday wear; errands, meeting up with friends, to wear around the house. I practically live in my Horizon 2.0 pants, even have worn them to Church! They are comfortable and I usually wear them ankle length with my tennis shoes but they also look cute rolled-up and buttoned (an option they have) with cute sandals. I am extremely happy with these great pair of pants.

Great fabric, quality made, slightly higher waist which I was looking for and the 6 fit me perfectly with room to spare. I like mine a bit longer, I am 5’3 136 and loved the 30 inseam.

Love these pants! They do run a little big. Great fabric and style, a little higher waist than some but it is a good thing!

I just returned from Uganda and ordered some NF gear specifically for the trip. Not only was this pant comfortable to wear, it wicked moisture very well. At the end of the day, it washed out in the sink easily and tried by morning. Can't recommend it enough.

I like the product, but the sizes run big. I always wear size 4 and I'm a size 0 on this line. Can's say I didn't feel happy about that!

These pants are perfect! So comfortable and easy to move around! Can wear them on long walks with my 100 lb lab, and head straight to the store and run errands because best of all, I CAN BRUSH THE DOG HAIR RIGHT OFF!!!! AWESOME!!!

I am returning size 12 as it was to large, even with the adjustable drawstring. The length was good for a 5"10"-150lbs, but I could not fill out the butt portion!! The material felt great, so I am ordering a size 10 today.

The pants arrived just in time to be worn on a great hike at Riceketts Glen State Park and made my hike to see all twenty some waterfalls comfortable as well as enjoyable for such a hot day.

I have been looking for pants like these for some time. These are very well made. They allow for room to move, and yet you don't have to worry about "over-exposure". I live in the South where it's very humid; these pants keep me cool and comfortable while hiking or going about town.

I use these pants to wear working at a plant nursery, gardening & hiking. They are stylish enough to go from the trail to a dinner party. I really like the functionality of the pant with the ability to roll up the pant leg. Also, I'm 5'11" and the pant legs are actually long enough. TNF is a go to brand for me due to this. I did not notice that the pants are treated and have a water repellent on them. This causes extra care in washing, if one desires to keep them water repellent.

These are great! They have structure and are pretty wrinkle resistant. You can wear them hiking or dress them up with a nice sweater. Perfect for a road trip.

These pants are very lightweight and comfortable. The relaxed fit is loose enough to be comfortable but not baggy. The only reason I gave them a 4 star for overall is they run a full size large (I had to reorder a size 6 when I typically wear an 8).

Love the material, it has the right amount of stretch for easy movement. I'm also forever hunting for pants that are the right length. Im 5'8" and these were the perfect length. Sadly they run big and I had to return them. I'm normally a 4 and TNF fit guide also suggested size 4, but it was 1 maybe even 2 sizes too big.
