I thought for sure these shoes would be great for me, but they squished my baby toes the minute I tried them on. I think it is the cut of the toe area that doesn't work for me. The comfort of the bed of the shoe is great, it was just the cut of the toe area didn't work. I have a narrow heel and usually take a size 8. Many times I have to add an insole (except in sandals) because of my narrow heel.

These beautiful shoes fit perfectly, right out of the box. I was delighted and amazed, that's never happened before! THEN I noticed the SQUEAK. Every. single. step. Unfortunately, the shoes were returned. Worse yet, they were sold out, so I couldn't even order a replacement. Too bad for me.

I honestly do not think that anyone knows how a size 4 to 4.5 fits. I am a size 4.5 in shoes and a size 5 with socks on sneakers. I purchased a 4 in these to see how they would fit since so many said that they ran small. This is incorrect in my opinion. Companies now are labeling size 4 shoes that are fitting like a 5 to 5.5. This is definitely NOT a size 4…way too long. So now petite individuals such as myself are completely left in the dust because I cannot find a sandal anywhere that fits me. I am extremely disappointed in Naot.

I had bought these sandals in black and they did not fit one was bigger than the other so I returned and got the brown color which is gorgeous. It’s my second pair and it did fit great I don’t know what’s with the black pair. That’s the second black pair I returned.

I love these shoes! I have a medium width foot with high arches, and I love the comfort and support of Naot insoles but I’ve had trouble finding styles that don’t run too narrow for my foot (which has resulted in me returning most of the Naots I’ve tried). This style finally worked for me! The leather upper (I got the tan color) is buttery soft, and the insole is supportive but with a velvety surface. My feet are in heaven when I slip these on! They are a perfect medium width, so they stay on my feet without any flopping around, and I love that they give me a little boost in height. My feet are an exact size 9 1/2 and the 41 fits perfectly.

I love the sandals, however, they were not wide enough. I'm sorry to have to return them.

These shoes are very supportive and I wish they had been perfect for me, but unfortunately they weren't. I have a pretty high instep and the strap rubbed my instep in a way that made my foot feel almost numb. If it weren't for that I would have kept them. Also, important to note, they run a whole size small. I'm normally a perfect size 9 or 40, but after reading other reviews I decided to order a 10 or 41 as well. The 10/41 fit perfectly and the 9/40 were too small.

Beautiful shoe in buttery soft leather; unfortunately, they are too narrow for my C feet. The toe opening cuts into my big toe and would likely cause blisters, my little toe is squished, and the small opening on the outside of foot pinches when walking.

So far so good - I ordered the US 9.5 to start with (I am a European 40) but they were just a tad too short on my bigger foot and it felt like they were too narrow across the front, but they looked lovely so I decided to return and try the 41 or US 10 - much better, lovely leather, look stylish and not frumpy but comfortable - I have yet to try my orthotics in them, as waiting for new ones to arrive, but I have arthritis in my left foot and it does not hurt to wear them - the wide leather feels like it supports the damaged bones on the top of my foot - they look good with skirts and capris - I am hoping they continue to be as comfy on a proper outing (can't go out right now due to Covid 19!) I would recommend them if you want an easy slip on stylish European look ...

It was very long in the toe. icould not wear these as I was tripping over the extra length in the toe.

So disappointed. Love the style, slight lift, and arch support was wonderful, but they are SO tight I had to tap the front of the shoe on the floor to get them on all the way. Even if they stretched out I think they’d be too snug. Width choices needed with this style. Sadly being returned :(

The shoes rubbed in the wrong place and I cant imagine walking in them.

I love the footbed of Naot but I couldn't keep my feet in these shoes. Just too wide.

I have worn a size 36 (5 1/2 - 6) for a very long time but now Naot size 36 (5 -5 1/2) is too small and size 37 (6-6 1/2) is too big. I really liked the shoe and hoped it would work but the shoe was just too big. Unfortunately, guess I will no longer shop for this brand as it seems my foot is between sizes.

Oddly, the leather upper at the back on the outside collapses in a little against my foot near my ankle (you can see how the leather bends slightly inwards from the photo showing the top of the sandal). Also, I got the size I typically wear and this fits fine except the footbed seems a little misaligned with my foot such that the sandal chafes at the bottom of the back outside leather uppers (i.e. my foot is slightly resting on the seam of the upper with the footbed which is uncomfortable). Unfortunately, going back.

I have a wide foot and hoped this style would fit me in a medium width. Unfortunately, it did not fit.

Unfortunately I got old and I need custom made orthotics in all of my shoes. I live in the desert and we wear sandals 365. I like slides because you just put them on and keep walking. These slides have a removable footbed which is good when you need orthotics in your shoes. I took The foot bed out and cut off the portion where my orthotic fits and had the Shoemaker glue back the toe part, cost five dollars. The orthotic fits fine inside the shoe and stays put, I can put them on and keep walking. Are they beautiful no. In fact they are very hot on your feet. But then again I’m used to wearing flip-flops. I would recommend these to a person who wears orthotics and wants a slide sandal. These are about the best I have seen, no style but they are slides, I remodeled and they work fine for my purposes.

These shoes are very tight. I have a medium to narrow (boney) foot and they would need to seriously stretch across the top. The leather scratches very easily, (the cardboard insert was enough to scratch it) and they squeak walking on my tile floor. Back they go — too bad, as they are cute. Wish they had worked. Thank you Zappos, for making the search easier.

Seams where the toes hit VERY uncomfortable

I believe these are defective. They are extremely narrow and I have a narrow foot. I could barely get my hand inside them. I have another pair of Naot and they fit great.

Shoe was not well made. It had a corner that was sewn funny and pinched. Too bad.

These shoes are NOT a size 5. They are way too big for me. It’s quite unfortunate as I really like them.

I ordered my usual size in Naot''s and Ardisia fits perfectly. They are extremely comfortable and attractive to wear with almost anything. The step-in style is convenient and important in a household where outdoor footwear is left at the door.
