These Adidas busenitz are based on the football boot Copa Mundial model and adapted for skateboarding. I have sworn by Busenitz for years and continue to do so. It's no exaggeration, total comfort and fit for purpose

These shoes are excellent, aesthetically and comfort wise. That much has been established between all the other reviews. What I want to talk about is the fit recommendations from Adidas and other reviewers here. THESE DO NOT FIT SMALL LENGTHWISE. AT ALL! They maybe run a bit narrow, but not an issue if you have standard width feet. I wear a 12 across the board in just about everything, except chuck taylors which I get a half size down at 11 1/2. I ordered a 12 and 13 in these, and the 12 was perfect with the flex point and at the right spot and about .5 inches of room between my toes and the front of the toe box. Spot on. Didn't even need to try the 13 on. At least at the larger end of the spectrum these run about as True to Size as can be. The only reason I could see needing to size up half a size would be if you have wide feet, as they run slightly narrow and have a tapered toe box. You would get that extra width but you would also have a bit extra length to deal with as a trade off. To summarize, these fit true to size at least in the upper end of the size range.

The tongue has a dotted line for trimming. But it's not obtrusive after a few. The feeling is great at the foot pad, and the cushioning seems to be right where I wanted it. I put a lot of miles on at work, and am looking forward to these.

Stylish, love how you can keep the tongue long or trim it down. Lasting shoes, great for flat feet.

The shoe is overall great but if you skate rough these would last 2 -5 weeks

The shoes are really comfortable. It has a thicker than usual tongue but I feel like that makes them feel more snug. They are skating shoes so I'm sure that the extra cushion is there just in case your board hits the top of your foot.

Lovely pair of shoes, I'm a big fan of the busenitz collection, they are slightly narrow at the toe so have to order half a size up.

I love these trainers! The sponge tongue is something else! I would highly recommend.

I'm a fan for life with these trainer's, well made, strong and hard wearing, not to mention how cool they look.

I'm not a skateboarder so don't trust my opinion. I don't like the shoes.

This is a super trainer. The quality is great - like a spezial really. The option on the tongue is cool - I've kept it long but easy to cut down. Option on laces too - White and blue provided.

Grabbed these Busenitz to wear for the 4th of July. Very comfy, like all Busenitz and they look great! Adidas - make more colors please! Really want a royal blue with yellow stripes!! ;)

What else could I say apart from Adidas has done it again

I recently dug up a pair of these I bought in Royal Purple like 8 years ago that I wore a handful of times, and holy crap do they fit and skate well. It brought back my kickflip flicks and catches. Super stoked on skating these again, easily the best shoes adidas makes overall (NMD & Boosts included) - I have dead on size 13 feet with normal width and there are no fitment/ sizing nonsense. NEVER DISCONTINUE. I hope Dennis becomes a millionaire for these gems.

Comfy and rad. Definitely will buy again. But tongue makes it easy to slip on.
