I love the fabric of the Ferrosi line. It is extremely comfortable and great for fieldwork! Sizing can seem to run a little small. I usually wear a size 6, but I moved up to a size 8 in all of my Ferrosi pants. (5'2", 140lbs)

I absolutely love these pants for several reasons beyond the fact they look absolutely great on. I love the it and the flare, length and style is extremely flattering. They are super comfortable and I’m extremely picky about comfort. I could sleep in these. The material is light but looks substantial. I have already washed these several times with no issues. I bought the Navy and they didn’t shrink, wrinkle or fade. They have a zip side pocket and a zip pocket in back I use to stash lots when I use these for outdoor activities. I stored a bunch of things in the leg packet including reading glasses and they pant still looked great on. I just moved back to Miami from Washingron State and also like that these are very cool in hot weather. They also dry super fast if I get them wet. I just with they came in black, khaki etc.. but I’m definitely buying another pair.

I have a few Ferrosi items (skort, jacket) and love them all. This was my first pair of capris and they are my absolute favorite. They are super lightweight - like wearing silk - extremely comfortable, perfect fit and stylish. I have always worn size 6 bottoms in all OR clothing and this pair is the same. Love the night color - like midnight.

Not only are these lightweight and dry quickly, they have a pocket that my iPhone6 (smaller one) fits in and what a difference that makes. It goes in up and down so that it doesn't make your leg look wide when it is in and in addition another zip pocket in the back as well as the two front open pockets. The fit of this capri pant is superb!!! Love them. Have them in three colors now!

Fantastic. I'm an active mom, so no short-shorts, but wanted something lighter than a crop denim. These are of a "sporty" material, but I am very happy with these. I'm usually a size 4. Based on the size chart, I ordered a 6. They fit perfectly.

Super light weight and flattering. Love that there is a waist cord but don't love that you have to knot it off inside the pant. It can be itchy. Not a big deal and I would definitely buy again.

a wee bit short but nice fit and practical

I'm 5'2" and the length was too long for me and hit me mid-calf. They are nice capris, just not for me.

I usually go on hikes, walks & do a lot of yard work. These capris feel a little snug after being washed but they stretch out to motion and are super comfortable for any activity really. They have a nice clean look that goes with any type of shirt; you can dress them up or dress it down. I plan to order a few more! I hope more colors come out!!!

Nice light comfortable pants for summer adventures.

Doesn't seem to be as durable as the Ferossi jacket, fabric seems to be fraying already after 2 months of use. Bulky fit, could use better coverage for knees, and definitely needs to be offered in smaller sizes for petite climbers.

I found these fit true to size based on the OR sizing chart and previous purchases of OR pants. As with other OR pants, the waist and hip run a bit large for me proportionate to the rest of the pant, but somehow don't look ridiculous when I adjust the fit using the drawstring. For reference, I'm 5'7" and around 144lbs with an athletic build (broad shoulders, smaller waist, larger rear and thighs) and the 6 fits very snug, has a smooth look, and is extremely comfortable.

Purchased three different colours, same size, actual garment measurements vary by 1.5 inches, both waist and length. Partner has found the same with Ferrosi pants.

Regarding Outdoor Research Ferrosi Capri: I love the fit, the color, how light they are, but are NOISY, very noisy! I will probably returned them as I feel self conscious about it! You can see people turning their heads as I pass by them...unacceptable for me! I also bought a Columbia Capri with the draw string at the knee, they are nice also ,light a bit too wide around the hips, and also Noisy more so then the Outdoor Research, I will return them. These sport items are in general more original then the cotton one, but the noise effect in the all synthetic should be definitely addressed. I would have give them 5 stars if it was not about the NOISE I wish I could find great cur, style, fit in cotton or cotton mix fabric.

These fit great-- I am slim, but I have a waist and hips, and these are perfect. Which is why I took so long to return them (thank you, Zappos). I have returned them, though, because I just can't get used to hiking in such flimsy nylonish fabric. I'm going to hold out and see if I can't find some good cotton knickers. I'll miss this fit, though.

I love these capris, I have them in the navy blue color. They are lightweight and look nice. I use them for casual wear out and about...occasionally ride my bike with them. My only gripe is that I've noticed that the fabric on the butt and thighs has started pilling and looks pretty rough to the point where I don't want to wear them out anymore. I'm disappointed because they were pretty expensive for capri pants and I expected better durability from this brand.

Fit is really strange...not flattering at all. Really dissapointed because I generally really like the products from OR. Not worth returning because shipping was not free and I paid extra for three day shipping. Just a waste of money.

I have given these away because the return process was not easy. I have 3 pairs of Ferrosi shorts which I love and fit me great. The capris have a different waistband than the shorts and were too tight. Weird to have different waist bands with the same style name.

Comfortable pants, but I was surprised and disappointed how quickly they pilled and looked worn out, especially for a known outdoor brand like OR.
