Sigh. So many of the reviews of were negative that I didn't know what to believe. As far as comfort and quality, there is nothing wrong with these shoes. And the fact that they can get wet is perfect for my tree climbing kids who also like to play in the water. Don't leave them in the sun to dry and I don't see why they would shrink, which some people mentioned. My issue with these is the sizing. With no half sizes, all of the shoes I bought for each of my kids were either JUST right or way too huge. Of course, just right leaves no room for error and no room to grow. For my toddler, I will keep the just right because I feel like he would be falling constantly in the larger size. For my older kids, they can get away with huge. Bottom line, good all around but for me... we could really benefit from half sizes.

These are a little hard to get on, but are great water shoes for my four-year-old.

I ordered a bunch of different summer/water shoes for my 3 year old son, and these were the only ones he'd put on his feet, so they automatically were the winners. (The orange is very bright but that's a good thing in his mind.) His feet are pretty wide, so I ordered up (he's currently wearing 8W or 8.5W, some brands even extra wide; I ordered 9 in these). They're definitely roomy but the width isn't a problem, either with or without socks. He's worn them both with and without socks and hasn't had any issues with blisters so far (perhaps bc I sized up?). He's happy and can run and jump and play without tripping or shoes falling off, so I'm happy too.

My son was so excite to get these for camp. Loves them but it took 3 tries to get size right. They are huge for their size. My son wears 4.5 in basketball shoes and we had to get a size 2 in these.

I seem to be the outlier here, but my son had HORRIBLE blisters from these shoes. He wore them without socks for a day of water activities, and the blisters caused him a lot of pain the day of and the following week.

Great play shoes. They're similar to Crocs, but IMHO, more stylish. I love that they can be thrown in the wash. However, don't expect them to come out sparkling clean - some dirt just doesn't come out of the ridges. Toddler had slight blisters the first few times he wore them, but he ended up loving them. Great for summer and aerating those sweaty little feet!

My son loves these! He's wanted to wear them every day since he got them. He complained of a blister--they rubbed on his instep the first couple of wearings, but they seem to be broken in now and he says they are very comfortable. I wonder if that's because we bought them a little big since he's growing so fast? Anyway, super happy with the purchase, and we hope to get great use all summer.

I bought these shoes for my nearly two year-old son. They are perfect for an active little kid... keeps his feet stable and comfortable due to the velcro strap and the neoprene around the ankle. However, after a long afternoon of wear in and out of a lake with sand, he developed hot spots on his heels and the inside of his ankles.

These are well constructed and durable. They are easy to put on and take off. Unfortunately, they rubbed on my son's foot below his ankle and gave him a bit of a blister. He still wears them but won't put them on without socks... which kind of defeats using them as a water shoe!

I wanted to love these shoes, but both of my kids said they weren't that comfortable. I think it was the stitching on the inside that bothered them. Also, the shoes seemed to be narrower than other styles in this category.

These shoes run HUGE. At least two sizes too big. Will need to send back.

I wanted to love these shoes. I got some for all my kids, everyone was complaining within 20 minutes that the shoes were rubbing their feet. Blisters formed in multiple spots. Skin totally rubbed off. Kids crying. I mean literally after 20 minutes they were begging for band aids. It was awful. I'm not sure if it's the shoe design or the material. They're basically rubber shoes. Maybe they work for some people. I gave up on all brands of shoes like these. They're also very wide in the toe and narrow in the heel and ankle.

These squeaked - just a heads up in case the sounds of squeaky shoes bothers you!

I had high hopes for these but unfortunately my son got blisters from them and didn’t get much use out of them.

I bought these shoes for our son based on all the great reviews. Sadly after wearing them for a very short walk they made terrible blisters in both feet. There was a rough seam area in both shoes that caused it. As these can't be returned due to them being worn I urge you to have your kids wear them around the house to be sure this doesn't happen to you!! * Also we are not alone our friends had the same experience.

These shoes gave my son blisters the first time he wore them. Great idea but we don't go without socks. I tried emailing zappos about getting an exchange, but didn't get an answer.

Cute shoe and seems great because you can skip the socks but my son was immediately bothered ("tickled") by the material where the tongue is sewn in toward the front of the shoe -- hangs down too much.

First off, super cute lightweight shoe. Kids loved the colors. Second, they are hard to get on. You have to pull on either side of the tongue using both hand and have a cooperative child. My 5 year old can barely get them on by himself. Third, they are only quick drying when referring to the plastic show part, not the Velcro or the mesh/fabric. And last but not least they are only comfortable for about 2 hours before my kids were complaining. Bottom line, ok water shoe, not good overall shoe.

We loved them until we put in dryer on low and the fabric shrunk. After this my son refused to wear them and only had them for 3 weeks. I purposely bought a size bigger and still he can't wear them now even though the size is right.

Purchased for both my boys (6 yr/12 sz, 4 yr/11 sz). We got them as an alternative to Native shoes. Looking for a pair that would hold well while playing with water, playing soccer and a pair that was easy to put on an take off. Initially they liked it, but after trying them on a few times, they went back to their old shoes. Reasons: hurts their feet, difficult to get on, does not dry fast. Did not work for them, thought we wish they did as they liked the look of it!

These shoes look cute & appeared to fit, but gave my son blisters after one day.

I really wanted to love these shoes. Super cute on and easy to get on, however, after my kids wearing them for a day - they both had blisters. These will be creek shoes unfortunately.
