Good fit, could be a little bit longer. Comfy for casual wear as well as times that you need a synthetic base layer.

Just one thing. I would like the waist band to be a few millimeters wider. In my opinion the waist band should be nearly as wide as the pants.
Awesome fabric.

To preface this review, I've been a longtime fan of a certain midwest trading company briefs but decided to give these a try. I use these briefs on hot, muggy NJ days for environmental field work. When you first put them on, they feel soft without the performance fabric feel. It's like the briefs aren't even there - comfy, light, breathable and they always feel dry EXCEPT for the waist band. It's not overly hot but breathability can be improved b/c you might notice it becoming damp. I still like them as they are a close second to the aforementioned product.

Cold and wet canoeing. These boxers were fantastic.

A lot of folks have recommended sizing up here, and I'm going to disagree. I like a more tight fit in my boxer briefs and went with a small, and they ended up being quite baggy, the waist just barely felt snug, and the legs were loose. Seems like they would be a great product if they fit though.

These are super light weight and you can barely feel them while on. They also don't move around on you.

Got several of these and they seem great after a month or so of use. Quick drying for sure.

Really good for what it is, and hiking/camping it's ideal but not comfortable the same way that cotton briefs are for every day wear. I think these are an awesome thing to pull out on active days but that's pretty much it for me. It's a personal preference thing and if you want synthetic briefs these are excellent options.

I have a bunch of shirts from their Echo line and these boxers were made with the same stretchy breathable material.
I'm normally a size small pant or 30" waist and found these a little tight in the waist. I thought how they closed the waistband might cause irritation with a waist belt but I did not find any issues with it. The material they use to mark the size and logo started peeling after one wash. Not a big issue, but I thought I would mention it.

The ventilation is unreal. Invest in your future gentlemen you can thank your past self later for it.

Comfortable alternative to merino wool. I am replacing my icebreaker merino wool undies with these. The merino falls apart at the butt after about a year of intermittent use. To short a life span for such spendie undies.
These are comfy, supportive, but not quite compression like my (tight!) under armors. Time will tell.

Nice light material. Nothing out of the ordinary here. Mid thigh length. Unlike most OR gear, which I find runs large, these fit small. I'm often between a M and S, went S here and regret it. Run slightly small or true to size.

Best underwear I have ever had. I'm slowly replacing all my underwear with this style.

Super light. Used them as a liner under board shorts, dried quick.

Very nice material. I bought these on line, so wasn't clear how tight fitting these are. I prefer a looser fit for boxers.

I primarily got these because of the long inseam since shorter boxer briefs tend to bunch up worse on my thunder thighs. In that regard they are great, no bunching up and no constant adjusting necessary. Material is light and breaths well.
The waist band runs tight, I wouldn't say they actually run small, as it fits fine otherwise, just know that the waist band will be tight. I'm a 6'1" 180lb with a 33" waist with about 40" hips and the elastic waist belt on the Large feels overly snug, to the point where they start to hike up my back pretty high when I'm moving around. After wearing them for a bit I stop noticing the tightness but if I have any sort of stomach discomfort while exercising or mountaineering I start to notice the tightness again.
My biggest gripe is how and where the elastic waist band is sewn together. For some reason they decided that the elastic needed to be folded over onto itself before sewing it so there is a thick, abrasive chunk of fabric and stitching pressed up against your spine. If you're wearing these for running or working out it probably won't irritate you but the first time I wore this on an 8-mile speed hike (half jogging, half walking fast) with a camelbak MULE it rubbed by back raw to the point of scabbing over the next day. I also wore these on mountaineering trips to the summits of Mt Baker and Mt Adams and on both trips I had to consciously pull these shorts down, basically to the point where my butt is almost exposed, before tightening the waist strap on my backpack in order to prevent this rubbing from happening again.
I can't return these since I've worn both pairs but I am going to downgrade these to gym/workout use and get something else that isn't going to rub me raw on any backpack-toting adventure.

Very comfortable except that the front door doesn't close very well which means you tend to flop out of it at inopportune moments. I like these shorts but will just buy the Sequence boxer briefs next time. #iloveoutdoorresearch

I want to like these briefs but I have found myself consistently disappointed. The first pair I got quickly got runs and holes in them, caused by nothing but casual and hiking wear. I reluctantly bought three more pair, hoping that maybe my first pair just had some sort of defect. Sure enough, all three other pair had the same issue. A small hole appears and then the fabric runs up or down from that hole. (I want to stress that there has been no puncture or abnormal abrasion to cause the holes!) While they are still functional, they are certainly unsightly. And my original pair quickly developed worn holes through the groin, causing them to end up in the trash. I have other brand briefs that I have has for 3x as long and are still holding up strong. The only reason I can still wear the ones I currently have after only a year is because I only wear them infrequently when going on multi-day, treks... Overall, I would say they are comfortable and functional, but if you want something with longevity, look elsewhere.
