I took my Tidal Tee Hoodie to the beach and it was a perfect cover up after I was done soaking up rays for the day! I loved it so much I ordered another one for me and one for my sister-in-law, who was also at the beach and really liked mine. My only recommendation is you may want to consider sizing up. Based on the size chart (and what I usually order), I should need a small (4-6) but the medium was a better fit for me.

This is a little roomier fit than some Columbia tops, which I like, and I usually buy a L/XL because of this. It's a nice layer for extra warmth when hiking or biking, and the lightweight fabric makes it easy for packing in a daysack or a bike bag. A keeper for sure. I purchased the blue macaw/yellow logo and love the color.

Very nice shirt for fishing. This is my favorite Columbia shirt for fishing or casual. The quality is great and fit as expected.

Loyal customer and have bought this hoodie in various colors over the years. This is my favorite hoodie and cover up while at the beach. The material is light weight and breathable. I buy a large because I like to wear mine a little baggy especially over a tankini. The sun protection is great feature. More colors please!!

Purchased two of these shirts for myself & my boyfriend. We used them as an under layer under our jackets when we went skiing. It worked out perfect!

This shirt is amazing. I own two myself and have bought them for my entire family as gifts. I'm a marine science outdoor educator and I spend my days hiking, kayaking, snorkeling and lifeguarding. I live in these shirts. They are breathable and cool and protect my pale skin from the sun. The best part is the hood! it sits on top of your head or a baseball hat so nicely without choking you or making your head too hot. And it provides so much extra sun protection for your face. It also dries extremely fast! Perfect for hiking, a long beach day, ocean adventuring, or traveling!

My boyfriend bought this for me for Christmas and I love it. I usually wear med in Columbia stuff sometimes large. Mine is a large and it's roomy but nice. Super soft and comfy!

You're the best around. The wife loves it, on the boat or beach. Protection from sun and wind. She now wants all the colors.

I wear this anywhere sun or indoors and it is comfortable in both climates.

I love this shirt! It is great for fishing even when it's extremely hot. It provides excellent SPF coverage and is comfortable.

This hoodie is very comfortable & light weight for early morning or later evening type wear. Color is very vibrant; it has a nice soft feel to it. Little longer so it covers up nice over the waist.

I bought this shirt in several different colors and I'm glad that I did. It is light weight, cool, soft, and comfortable. It has thumb holes in the sleeves to keep them down on your arms while you're speeding to you favorite fishing spot. The shirt acts as a great sunscreen and the hoodie provides extra protection from the sun. I'm 5'7" and 127 lbs and I wear am extra small in Columbia shirts.

This is just a terrific shirt in a great color that also has a hoodie!

Notes on coverage for those of us with sun allergies: -covers back and sides of neck. on the size medium, the hood encircles all but 4" of the neckline. on me, the neckline hits at the collarbone leaving 4" of the collarbone up exposed to the sun. i pair with an SPF sun mask to cover that area. -the sleeves extend almost to my fingertips. (note that in my experience, the regular/non-hoodie tidal tee does not extend past the wrist) Pros: -i literally say "ahh" when I put this on. the material is silky and comfortable. -this is probably the coolest SPF shirt I own and works on really hot days. Cons: -the thumbholes are cut too far from the edge of the sleeve, in my opinion. the holes pull against my thumb when I lift my arms and I'm only 5'4". -the lollipop shows standard bra lines and body bulges. -i took off a star for quality because there were several strings hanging down inside upon receipt. Size note: I'm a 34C and almost always a medium in shirts. The medium is the perfect fit for wearing around town (i.e., comfortably baggy - not a tight workout look). It almost covers my butt, but not quite -- I have a lot to cover :)

Great product if you spend time on boat or out in sun. Light weight and comfortable and protects from the sun. I wore it out fishing in Mexico when the morning was cool. Kept me warm in the morning and cool by keeping the sun off in the afternoon heat. Love it!

This is my 4th color in this shirt! Can't rave enough about the quality and feel of this material. Great for the outdoors, keeps you cool in the sun and warm when it's windy.

The tidal tee is for me! Great fishing shirt to keep the sun from damaging my skin. Love the feel of the shirt as well.

This product is a great cover-up for the sun when you don't want to look frumpy. The sleeves have holes near the wrists for extra coverage for your hands. The colors are very vibrant and the top is true to size. I bought two!

I usually buy size small for my Columbia tops but chose to go with a medium to give me a little bit more room since I will be wearing this top over a tank top when I am kayaking and fishing.

I like it so far. Usually wear an S but ordered an M because I dont like clingy tops in the summer months. It fits slightly loose which I prefer. FYI Im 53, 118 lbs.

3rd shirt! Love them for the beach and snorkeling. The hood is perfect to keep the sun off my head when in the water.

Love this lightweight sun protection shirt. Sleeves are long, material is lightweight, comfortable and drys quickly.

Looks just like picture. Can be worn as long sleeve shirt or light weight sweat shirt in warm weather.
