I had a difficult time sliding my heel into these boots, once they were finally on they felt like cardboard, and I could not bend them, super stiff leather, not comfortable at all. When I tried to walk in them, they have a knot on the innersole that was uncomfortable. I was very disappointed.

I normally love Frye boots. These are tough leather that do not move with your movements. The size was smaller than I normally wear (tighter). I am sending them back.

Love these booties!!!! They are super comfortable and the leather is beautiful. They run a bit narrow but I did read a few reviews before I ordered them and they did say that they ran a bit narrow so I ordered a half size up and they fit great.

Beautiful shoes. Dress up or down.

Love the look of these boots, but the M felt a little to narrow for my normally M foot.

I love this boot because it is well made and does not have a high heel which I cannot wear. Unfortunately, even after asking for a larger size the shoe is too narrow even though it is a B width.

This boot keeps with the Frye tradition & reputation of quality leatherwork with style. In general I wear a 9 narrow shoe. This boot is true in length. I also found it not as wide as other Frye footwear I own. It was a little stiff on first wearing which is the reason for a 4 on comfort. The Red Stonewash color is gorgeous - more cordovan than red.

I have another pair of frye boots that I LOVE! I had originally ordered an 9 in those, but they were too big, so I exchanged them for an 8.5. When I ordered these, I ordered an 8.5...and I can hardly get them on my foot! They are so narrow. They are lovely, though, I will exchange.

These are gorgeous boots. I love the style. They run very very small. I have another pair of size 10 frye boots that fit great. These boots in size 10 I couldn't even get my foot into. Felt 2 sizes smaller than marked.

Too small! and one was smaller than the other. I will have to return them which makes me sad because I like how they look.

Really wanted to love these, but I will have to send them back too. Please note the 'Stonewashed' in the leather description. They are very distressed; not the clean/polished looking leather as in the photo. I ordered my usual size in Frye, and the fit was similar in the ball and heel, but these felt too long. Other reviewers have noted the distressed appearance; I just liked these a lot and had to give them a try.

I was so excited about these boots..until I put them on my feet. The style did not fit as I expected, and I felt like I was wearing clown shoes. Other reviews have indicated the leather being stiff, which it was, but any good pair of boots will take time to break in. If I had liked them on my foot, I would have gladly put up with the lack of comfort, trusting that Frye boots always take time to conform to my feet. The killer here is definitely the style -- cute everywhere BUT on your feet.

These boots are going back but this is a review on how they arrived when I purchased them: These boots are not the red hue they appear in the photos. They are more of a dark dark brown with barely any tint of red in them at all. Not only are they a deceiving color, these are not polished at all. The photos and description say polished but the boots that I received literally look like they have been worn for years. The bottom of the shoes are totally torn and scratched up beyond what the photos show and the entire lower part of both boots are scratched and chipped away and discolored. It looks like someone drug them through gravel about 50 times. That is so disappointing. I am not sure if they were used boots sent back and then resold or if they are just literally nothing like the description. I love the photos on Zappos and will send them back to get a different pair but if they come back looking like the ones I have now, I will have lost a lot of faith in Frye. For such expensive leather boots, they should not look like I have already worn them for 10 years. Rant over.
