This windbreaker was exactly what I needed. For travel, I was looking for a lightweight, easy to pack, "what if" weather situations for my travels. Neutral color works well with my color palette.

I really love this jacket... It is lightweight, but serves its purpose in the wind or light rain. I haven't tried it in a heavy downpour, so I cannot say how it holds up under those conditions. My daughter likes it so much she wants a matching one!

Nice light jacket, packs well in backpack. This not lined, just a wind breaker. Pretty purple color.

I was looking for something in a jacket that wasn't overly warm as I'm in the season of hot flashes. This lightweight jacket is PERFECT!! It has sunscreening built into the material which is ideal as well for my fair skin. If the weather gets a little misty it will be perfect for that as well...maybe not any heavier downpours but that's ok with me. Thanks, Columbia!!

I found this jacket to be very comfortable. I bought a size 3X to be sure it was roomy and I could wear a sweater under it. I like that it is UV ray protected and waterproof. It is a very nice looking jacket.

I love this jacket so much I have 2 of them in different colors!! It's a great, lightweight jacket that is cool and stylish at the same time. I highly recommend it!!

I ordered this for summer rain protection. I have other rain wear(llbean, land's end)--but they are all bulky. I ordered a size up so I can layer it --specifically when I play golf. I normally wear a 1X, and it would have fit--but I wanted extra room for movement. I haven't worn it in the rain yet--so I will check back.

Great for the coastal weather

I really like this jacket. It is just the right weight for a Spring rain or blustery weather. It will fit well in a backpack just in case the weather changes.

This windbreaker is exactly what I needed. It is lightweight enough that I can roll it up into the hood and put it in my bag without it making my bag too heavy or bulky. Living in Portland, OR now, there are actually rain-free days (knock on wood) and though it is getting a little warmer, when that wind picks up...brrrr!! Especially when you are in downtown and the buildings shade you from the sun. It's times like these when I whip out my windbreaker, slip it on, and it does the trick. It's light enough where you're not going to get hot so it's great for long walks or jogs during seasonal transitions. I got the peach/gray color combination which is great for an outdoorsy look, but am also thinking about getting a plain black one for a more polished look. I ordered a 3X. I generally wear a 1X-2X but each brand is different and luckily I was able to try on a rain jacket in the store (they didn't have plus size windbreakers, hence the online order)--the 2X was too snug. With that said the 3X is kinda on the looser side (for me), but seeing how this goes over clothes I don't mind. I love that the pockets are zippered and deep enough to hold my cellphone safely. There are pull-strings at the bottom of the jacket where the zipper starts. I just tie them into a bow so they are not hanging but have found it just a tad bit inconvenient when unzipping and trying to take off the windbreaker only to be stopped by the bow I tied. I'm sure it serves a purpose--to stop wind from blowing in from the bottom? It's just another added step to untie it but kinda breaks up the flow and ease of an otherwise perfect product. I also believe it's water-resistant in light rain. I wore it one day not expecting the misty rain to turn into real rain. I was worried that the rain would leak through since the peach half of the windbreaker was becoming see-through as it became more wet but nope--I remained dry and the windbreaker itself dried pretty quick once I got on the train. All in all, I highly recommend this product--especially for heavier set people like me who have a hard time finding rain jackets and windbreakers in our size while still being reasonably priced.

I can't thank Columbia enough for offering Plus sizes. I am average in build but have a large bust which has pretty much excluded me from any other outdoor gear clothing company. This has led me to purchase men's jackets. This jacket came and it fits nicely and the best of all, it's not a men's coat. I ordered the 2X out of habit always needing to go larger but I think a 1X would have worked. I like it and will be purchasing more jackets from Columbia.

This is exactly what I was looking for in a super-light, windbreaker that packs down small. I wanted enough room under it to layer with a thin fleece if needed, so I got one size larger and it gives me just enough room to layer without looking too large. I also prefer my jackets to be loose, so regardless of whether I layer it works well. I wasn't a fan of the bottom drawstring, so I actually cut most of it out (turns out there is a stitch in the back that keeps it from moving too much from one side or the other, so I cut out everything but an inch on either side of that stitch). All in all I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend. I also liked the color combo (dark cyan/wind).

I bought this jacket for a trip I was going to take. It was ideal because it is light weight and can easily be brought anywhere! I love that the sleeves were long enough, it fit well, and I think the cut off where the colors switch is in a flattering spot. I would recommend this rain jacket to anyone looking for one!

The lightweight and water resistant jacket is my go-to light adventure jacket. Whether I'm out and about either on the lake, river, dirt roads in Nevada or various trails around Lake Tahoe - you won't see me leaving the house without this bad boy packed in my daypack. I have countless Columbia jackets and various goods for all seasons: light weight and heavy winter styles, and this one surely does please just like the rest of my Columbia outerwear.

Ordered this as I needed just a lightweight windjacket that packs small for boating. Works great. Love that the hood has ties to hold it over my ears. Some jackets just have some elastic which lets hood fall off head in the wind Would definitely suggest it to a friend.

Great jacket to stuff in your tennis bag or a backpack for something lite to pull on. I got the blue and white. Like the colors because they're nautical looking and I needed a lite jacket for the beach. Nothing bad to say about this jacket

I needed a windbreaker for a trip to Scotland this summer, and have always LOVED Columbia coats and jackets... this one tho, is MY FAVE! The color, Midieval/White is more gorgeous in real life and I orderd the 1X so I can put a thicker long sleeve under on cooler rainy days. This jacket exceeds my expectation, thank you Columbia!

I got a 3X and it's bigger than needed around the middle but the arms fit more like a blouse, so I will not be able to wear a sweatshirt under it as was my plan. It's not been tested yet, but I'm sure it will be great for our Alaskan cruise in July and the drizzly weather that Oregon is famous for. The light blue color shown matched the color of my jacket.
