If I could only have one pair of climbing shoes for bouldering, sport climbing, and the gym, it would be the Skwama. They are sensitive enough to feel the nuances of footholds, aggressive enough to hold small holds on steep routes and roofs, but still have enough support and edging ability to drive down into small holds on vertical routes without rolling. The uppers and accommodating and can stretch to fit wide feet. Heel is locked in place and the single velcro strap is enough to cinch down if needed, but the fit is solid enough that it would even work as a straight slipper. Like most LS shoes, you do need to size down significantly from street shoe - like 3-3.5 euro sizes!
