This is an AWESOME tri bike shoe! I've worn the same Specialized for 10 yrs because I loved them & couldn't find a good replacement. Then they fell apart so I was forced. Read reviews about this shoe, especially how comfortable it is on your foot, and I decided to try. I'm training for a 70.3 in Chattanooga and needed a shoe that wouldn't give me hot foot or make it hard to run a half marathon afterwards. This is the shoe! SO COMFORTABLE and wide enough to let your feet move, but not too wide. Easy to get on and off too, for those fast transitions. And you can't beat the price.

This shoe looks good and fits well. I returned it because it is heavy and has little ventilation. The strap fastening to the medial aspect of the shoe is not a problem as several other high end Triathlon bike shoes are designed the same way. I advise not to let this design element deter you from giving these shoes a try.
