This is my first cycling shoe - I bought it for spin class and love it. I wear a size 11 and sometimes have difficulty finding specialty shoes that work for me. This one fits well, is comfortable and (with clips) works great on the bikes in my gym. You can also use them without clips but I bought them so I use them. I'd found that my running shoes didn't work in the pedals and since I'm new to spin, I didn't want to spend too much on a pair of shoes so these are a great find.

I like these because they do not have the ratchet mechanism, just Velcro. The ratchet broke on my previous pair of shoes. Also, I bought these because I have long, narrow feet and need a size 44. What is up with most women's cycling shoes maxing out at size 43? And who cares about arch support in cycling shoes? How much walking does one do in these shoes? And as always, Zappos has lightning speed shipping!

This is described as an indoor cycle shoe. IT IS NOT! It CAN be worn indoors but there is no rubber sole to protect floors or keep the shoe from totally sliding on a hard floor surface (and also causing the clear to scratch floors). There is a model of this same shoe with a rubber sole
For walking indoors but not offered here (the SH-ME301 would work but not exactly the same). Would be perfect though for outdoor cycling, although that’s not what I needed, so I returned them.

These fit the bill for occasional indoor cycling (2-3/week). After about 15 wears, I did feel the straps need to be pulled a bit tighter but it's not a big issue since they're fine during class. Overall, good quality and comfortable (more than Pearl Izumi to me) for the price.

Good style -- a bit small due to strange sizing. Go bigger on these.

Fit was a bit tight, so you may want to order a half size up, though I decided to keep the 8.5 as a half size will=clown shoes.
Great for spinning and the clips, which must be ordered separately, were very easy to attach. I literally put them on and took a class.

These shoes run small! I normally rent a 42 in all different brands of spin shoes at the multiple studios I frequent, but both the 42 and 43 were way too small. I wear a size 11 regular shoe but the 42s at the studio are always fine...maybe they get stretched out from multiple people wearing them? Either way, size up for these Shimanos.

I ordered these based on reviews and I have to say I'm pretty frustrated. These shoes require a cleat adapter to be used with SPD cleats. This was not at all listed or stated anywhere. Returning!

While this seemed to fit okay, I could tell this was a return/had been worn due to the scrapes on the side of the shoe/bottom of the shoe where cleats had been attached and the box looked like it had been beat up. I honestly think $100 is too much for a used shoe. Will be returning.

This did not come with clips and was not an indoor cycle shoe as described.
