i think once broken in they will be very nice. they rubbed a sore on top of foot but not the first time something like this has happened.

From two weeks of beach use I can say the sandal has been comfortable and the outsole grip on sand on asphalt has been great. My only concerns at this point are how loose the sandal straps are and the attachment point of the straps. I've had a pair of reefs in the past and they lasted 7 years of consistent summer abuse. Hopefully time proves Reef has maintained their quality and I won't be replacing these sandals for a number of years.

Great, comfy flip flops. Wore them all through Africa, have been on (accidental) hikes with them and never got so much as a blister. In the summer I like to live in flip flops and these are the ones you want. The leather molds to your feet and they are comfier than most shoes.

The footbed is a little slick at first, but once they're worn for a day that goes away and the leather grips well. Comfortable, true to sizing chart and sharp looking. My first pair lasted 10 years!

These are the best flip flops I've ever owned. They are so comfortable and lightweight and they last forever. HOWEVER, the picture of the DARK BROWN color is not at all what these look like in person. They are, as described, dark brown. The picture makes it look like a black/brown or espresso. That is not the case. They are dark brown, and have a similar color throughout, not two-tone as shown in the picture.

I use around the house very comfortable good arch support But no half sizes

I like them but they are narrow for me. Is there something I can do.

Leather feels cheaper. Fit is way too loose. Disappointed that Reef changed what used to be the best sandal on the market. Not sure it's worth the huge price tag anymore.

This noche color has a footbed of a suede material,not a nu buck smooth leather.Seems to run small. I bought these for my husband who wears nothing but reef. This is not a true J-bay because of the suede footbed. The picture here looks nothing like the product. The past few pairs we have ordered have not been consistent .

not my 1st reefs. wear them most of the time. comfortable, pretty, but tend to roll over at the heel.

I normally wear a 12, but this sandal sticks out about a 1/4 inch too far at the heel. The leather thong rubs. The synthetic thongs are much more comfortable.

I bought these directly from reef, attempting to corcumvdnt manufacturing issues by going straight to source. I'll break it down in simple terms because it seems people have a hard time accepting that their premium line has problems. 1. Arrived in good condition, requires wearing them in to get comfortable. Leather has been left alone post stain job, might have had a wash job done on them, no finite detailing aside from simple stitch job, metal accents, and a fancy bottom. Metal accents are oversized, improperly stitched to the sandle , meaning they sit at awkward angles and do not sit straight or flush with the direction of the strap, kind of weird considering these are the best that is offered from reef. Metal logo on the side is not inset but rather clumsily stitched onto the side, just a lot of stitching and no elegant inset molding or alternative attachment, not sleek like it looked in images. 2. The rubber is squeaky rubber, reef needs a materials scientist on staff to obtain some rubber options that don't make endless noise when walking if they hit a wet surface, very annoying and something I haven't experienced with my Olu Kais, rainbows, etc. 3. The toe reinforcement is a single stitch all the way down with laminated adhesive and backed with ballistic nylon. Let me tell you what this does: 3a. Delaminates instantly once you are active in the slippers, meaning if you wear them long enough over 7 days, as I was in a sunny place they were the original shoes of choice for 5 days of a 7 day adventure, the delamination started gluing my toes together once the adhesive got wet from sweat in my toes. :/ 3b. Makes you not want to wear them because they started falling apart after 5 days of not heavy use. I was walking around a small convention giving talks, not a lot of movement. 3c. Makes you question buying Sandles from reef again because their best units fall apart in 5 days. 4. The fade began to wear off after day 5 as well, they got lighter in color. :(

This is my third pair of Reef J-Bay. This pair is very loose. Just wondering if I got a bad pair

Purchased in August and by November the leather had deep cracks. I don't feel like I even wore them that much.

Useless. Too short and too broad for the stated size. No opportunity for no cost return. No further Reef purchases.

Looks nothing like the Sandal sent picture looks black and brown. Sandal came in a UPS Brown/Brown returned for a refund.
