Just got?em just in December because of my line of work. I trael in country a lot and spend 90% up a mountain with mud and clay terrains. I took them out today for the 1st time and they did not dissapoint. I felt my foot was super secure and i was confident in every step i took in the clay terrain. I am very happy with my current pair. Mine are the black and orange.

This was my first Salomon purchase back in February. The day after I bought them I went on a 20 mile hiking challenge. This is a wonderful lightweight boot that has since carried me up and down multiple mountains, in some pretty awful conditions. Can't recommend enough.

I got these boots last spring and took them out on a 14er just days later without breaking them in at all...and didn't have a single blister. They fit like a dream (once you size down - I'm normally a 10 but wear a 9 in these and some other Salomon shoes) and are good for the miles. The fact that they're waterproof but still on the lighter/more breathable side of things was a big draw for me as I wanted a boot I could use both for summer backpacking and winter snowshoeing. My only complaint is that they seem to collect more gravel/small rocks than any other hiking boots I've had but that was easy enough to fix with some lightweight gaiters. Other than that small issue, these shoes are PERFECT!

I bought this shoe over a year ago and hiked 1800 miles of the Appalachian Trail in these shoes. Other hikers went through 3-5 pairs of shoes and I only needed this one! They would look at the tread on my boots and thought it was unbelievable that they could last so long with so little wear. They took no time to break them in! I never got blisters. It felt like they were molded to fit my exact foot. I usually wear a 8 1/2 and the 9's fit perfectly (your feet swell while hiking so it's recommended to size up). I really can't say enough about how well constructed and tough these boots are. Perfect for rain, snow, and stepping over/on sharp rocks. Once my boyfriend saw how well my Salomon's performed he quickly got a pair of his own. I really can't imagine a better boot. Hoping the trail running shoes I order next will please me just as much. I'm fairly new to hiking but always get blisters in pretty much any shoe with structure. I went for a 3 hour hike the first time wearing these and they were comfortable the whole time, with no blisters or wear spots! Also the perfect amount of warmth, tread, and waterproof. Very happy with these!

Great support through the ankle and lots of room in the toe box for those extra thick socks

Bought these shoes for my hiking adventures. Durable, comfortable, and a great price for the quality! Just the right height on the ankle for support and protection. Sole grips right to rocks so I can climb in confidence.
