These are lightweight and fantastic, and I like them a lot. Once caveat though--I had the regular (non sport) bikinis before, so I went ahead and ordered the same size of this version. Because the leg holes aren't as elastic (which is a good thing as the other ones chafed me on long runs), these feel much larger and tend to ride up a bit. It's not super critical, just a bit annoying. I will size down net time.

These are some of the most sporty/fun/stylish underwear I've seen from Ex Officio. The only reason it got 4 out of 5 stars is that they are a bit high-waisted, so would show above waistline of some of my pants. Other than that, they are sporty and functional, very comfortable, at least for travel. I have not worn them working out or anything like that yet. They are not too tight so I don't get underwear lines. They are my new favorite "everything" underwear. And cute as well! They don't look like "granny panties", like I think some of the other Ex Officio underwear looks like. I got them on sale (20%) off, so they were worth that price. I don't think I'd pay full price.

I really, really love these undies! The fabric is incredible - so lightweight and breathable! My ONLY caveat is they are not as "cute" as the photo. The "side" of the undies is much thicker across the hips, looks much more like a brief than a bikini. I ordered three pair - then ordered 4 more after a week.

These panties meet the goal of having lightweight, fast-drying travel-wear. However, if you use any kind of panti-liner, these panties are pretty useless. Pantiliners barely stick to the material of the panty and if you are active and sweat and the panties/liners get damp, they won't still at all. This is a serious flaw for an active woman.

I ordered the same size as the original version of these. They runs big in the back and sit high; they do not have the same fit despite their name. I would not order them again.

I wish they'd go back to the waistband from a year or two ago... I was so sad they changed it... that version was 5 stars!

I really like the mesh fabric, but they run large. I wear an extra large in their traditional bikini brief, but this new style run way big. I'll attach a photo to show size difference. Both styles are XL bikini briefs, but the sizing is way off on the maroon pair

I have bought this bikini for years and love the fabric, but with my latest order I found that the style had been changed from a bikini to almost a full brief. I do not like this new style at all and hope I will be able to buy the bikini again.

As an avid traveler, I was excited to try these out for the first time, and bought two pairs for my upcoming thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail. However, within a few hours of wear, I noticed that the fabric already had a snag in it! Very disappointed, as I spent a lot of money on this purchase and had higher expectations of the quality. Overall, they are comfortable and breathable, but I was let down quickly with the fabric quality.

These bear no resemblance to a bikini! They come up even higher than the briefs I used to own. The fabric may be breathable, but I never got to the point of working out in them as they were uncomfortable to wear under my leggings and stuck out the top of the waistband. It could be that the size I got was too big - I followed the size chart which suggested a L when I typcially wear a M. Disappointed!

Same great fabric, but a different fit? I have a few pairs of these from a year or two ago and they are my favorite, but a pair got destroyed so I bought 5 more pairs in what I thought was the same style. I had both the bikini and the hipkini previously and purchased these thinking they would be the same as the bikini style I already had. The hip band is significantly tighter on these, and they sit much higher. Not at all what I expected, so I am pretty disappointed and will not purchase again.

Went on a trip around the world for a year and brought 3 pairs of these underwear. They are comfortable and breathable but they all stretched out to the point of being unwearable.

These are okay, but not worth the cost. The fabric is nice and smooth, but doesn't clean very well despite using a washing machine with good detergent.

I bought 2 of these for a trip to Europe next month, thinking that I would try them out and if they worked out well, buy 4 more. However, when I received them, they were huge, even after washing. I took the suggestions of the other reviewers and did not put them in the dryer. They are nice and thin and will probably dry fast. I am going to bring these 2 pairs for standby but I will bring my normal underwear. I am 5' 3", 115 lbs, quite athletic. I normally buy an ex-small and wear a size 0 or petite 2.

Well, the material of these panties is amazing! Unfortunately this cut is not for me. I am 5'6" about 175 lbs and they rode up quickly while walking and jogging (I bought a Large). Great news though: I returned them and bought the Give-N-Go Sport Mesh Hipkini in a Medium (and have since ordered a Small to try as well) and they seem like they will stay put!

These underwear run larger than the other styles (I have 5 pairs of the lacy bikini and the lacy thong). I put the other pairs up against these ones and they are larger - how disappointing. You would expect a medium to be a medium. Also, the edging is slightly smaller (tighter) than the actual underwear which means 'panty lines' are accentuated (greatly I might add!) These are a huge, huge disappointment. Also, the pair I received looked more like a brief than a bikini. Anyone want a pair of unworn, unused, expensive, mesh bikini underwear?

I have over 10 pairs of this underwear. It is not sexy- but the most comfortable and functional underwear I can find, good for work, travel, and even cute. I work and travel in Africa and Europe and found the old style amazing for travel, at work, and during workouts. However I recently ordered new pairs and found the sides about 2 inches wider than previous models making the underwear VERY unattractive. The new style is now beyond 'grannie panties' size, and even rather restrictive on the leg. Most of the photos shown are still of the old style. DO NOT BUY IF YOU WANT THE OLD STYLE!!! I can only hope the new style is finished and the old style is brought back.

I've been wearing this underwear for years. I've lost weight and its time to buy new ones anyway, so I decided to purchase some new ones, but I was really disappointed. It seems as though the height on the band has been raised so it is less bikini and more brief now. I compared the height from the leg to the band from this pair to the older version that I have and the new one I purchased is over an inch longer! I was suffering from major granny panty syndrome. Really, really disappointed. :(

The sports mesh is not as durable as the classic style. I live by the classic style and will keep repurchasing. But the sports mesh style runs big and ripped a hole in mine farely new.

I am on Guam at the moment and have a pair of these that still aren't dry! I washed them in the sink yesterday and rolled them in a towel to wring out the excess water. Hung them up and today they are still damp. Also they are prone to creeping up and giving you a wicked wedgie. There is no elastic or anything to to keep them in place on your "cheeks". I cannot believe I was so stupid as to fall for the "you only need 1 pair of underwear for a trip" I will never waste my money on these again!

The first day I wore these I thought they were great. It didn't feel like you were wearing anything at all. But after only a couple of washings, they lost that quality and just didn't hold their shape. They were just limp and shapeless, and worse...riding up on me. Very disappointing.
