These are great sandals. My wife says they are ugly, but that is false. I wear them with socks to work (oh yeah). The buckles are made of substantial metal and would keep Frodo's hairy feet secure on Mount Doom. The cork soles are comfortable but sometimes my feet suction on and make fart noises like when you do that thing with your armpit.

I've tried to wear other brands that are more stylish (and more expensive), but I always end up coming back to Teva. It happened again. This time with Terra Float in brown leather. Very stylish and comfy. I really like the cushy feel of the cork footbed. It's not quite as cushy as Toachi 2, but it is real close. Far more comfortable than Chaco or Keen. A nice alternative for when you don't know you won't be traipsing through water. Oh, and I also experienced the farting sound while walking down a hill. My flat foot makes a solid seal against the footbed which releases in an awkard noise. But then I adjusted the toe strap to be a little tighter, which apparently broke the seal and the noise went away.

This item runs small. I own several size 11 TEVA sandals but this pair is either miss marked or just runs small.

I rarely write reviews, and I'm super picky and critical of what I buy, especially when something is expensive. I just put these shoes on and they are awesome. They look good, they feel good and don't even hurt my feet unbroken in. Once these babies get a little worn in they are going to be perfection. Great stuff.

Very comfortable with a little buckle rub at times. Only downside is very fast wear of sole. Grime from feet penetrates cork possibly perpetuating foot fungus. No dirty footbed smell. Could be easier to put on.

Shoes are comfortable, I would have preferred the buckles to be on the other side of the shoe.

Pros: Lightweight, quality materials, metal buckle, good leather, consistent sizing, minimal and stylish design. Love the natural round-shaped heel outsole design. Cons: Cork material on footbed is thin and also creases beneath ball of the feet; can feel creases beneath bare feet. The straps rub slightly on top of big toes and and top of ankle area. Biggest con is air-sucking "fart" sound created while walking from pressure between foot bottom and cork; might not be an issue for some foot shapes but there was a noticeable loud squeak with about every other step for me.

Read the description. "Cork wrapped" thin veneer that will wear away in a few wears. Not real cork.

I don't like how far the front strap allows my toes allow them to move forward. I would not feel stable enough in these.
