I love a comfy, nude color sandal, preferably stylish; used to love an Ecco gladiator but my husband told me he'd had it with that style, so no more gladiators for me. But I still want a sandal which visually disappears and I need a comfy sandal (one of my children is in a wheelchair so I really need to feel steady as I transfer him and push his magic ride). I'm also not ready to throw in the style towel, so I want a good-looking, fashion-forward sandal, too. This sandal meets two of those criteria: it is nude(-ish -- I'm so fair it's a bit dark on me but not enough to discount these sandals), and it is insanely comfortable! Holy cow. None of the straps have any sharp edges, so no cutting / rubbing; the footbed is terrifically supportive and cushioned, and the nubuck (? not sure) lining very soft. The velcro closure makes them even better, let's be honest. But they're kinda dorky, borderline orthotic-shoe looking. I have owned for years those original Tevas which I only wear when I need water sandals, but they're just not my look. I've never owned a pair of Birkenstocks or Mephisto sandals either. While I appreciate those brands / styles have their granola charm, I am not a granola gal. I'm going to keep these because of how comfortable and convenient (nude and velcro) they are, but it'll be interesting to see how often I wear them based on my feeling about their, um, "natural" appearance.

I've ordered both the leather and the fabric model and i have to say the leather is a lot more narrow. Also the sole of the shoes is leather so the feeling of the shoe over all is very different. I have wide feet and the fabric shoes felt amazing right away.

I loved the look of these sandals right out of the box.... they were exactly what I was looking for. The footbed is soft and comfortable. Unfortunately for me the fit where the strap meets the sole cuts into the arch of my foot (which is why I described them as "felt narrower than marked") and is uncomfortable - and I am pretty sure that this would not eventually "break in" with wear. Sadly - they are going back to Zappos.

I got these in the natural color, they were extremely comfortable, true to size and nice looking. However, I didn't care for the natural color, they just disappeared on my feet, and I worried that they would get dirty very quickly and look grungy. I didn't care for the velcro strap either, a buckle would have been so much nicer on these. These are a bit dressier for Teva brand and the velcro just looked wrong on these. I might have overlooked that and gone with the blue, but I didn't like the pink color on the edge of the velcro strap. Again, I thought it made these look more casual and sporty on a sandal that seems like it's going for more sophisticated comfort.

I am obsessed with these shoes!! I live in NYC and walk everywhere. I needed a comfy stylish sandal and these are perfect. I live in them and I am considering ordering a back up pair. I have a wide foot and these work great, would maybe not be the right shoe for someone with a narrow foot. I'm a 7.5 and the 7.5 worked. Stretched out a bit though so if I ordered again I would considering trying the 7

These are leather sandals with fairly narrow straps, I was worried they might cut into my feet, but so far they are very comfortable. I have a narrow foot, so the strap over the toes might be too tight if for a wider foot. They are quite stylish and fairly dressy. I don't know that they would match some of the other Teva's for comfort. I probably wouldn't wear them walking around Europe, but they are fine for lighter wear.

Love. I purchased these same sandals in the nude color last summer and I ended up wearing them All. The. Time. Every trip we went on I took them and wore them more than the other shoes I'd brought. On a crazy hot + humid day I wore these up and down Mont Royal and they were achingly comfortable, with pebbles and sand being kicked up (nothing got inside / under my soles), with my feet HOT. Insanely comfy. Plus, even after all the wear they still look good and fresh -- the nude leather is not stained or discolored at all. So this year when it was time to replace my old beloved Ecco gladiator sandals (which my husband *hates*) I didn't even think twice: purchased these in black. I've only worn them around the house (making sure they fit the same as the other pair) and yep, they sure do! True to size, excellent arch support, easy on / off with the velcro strap, soft leather which doesn't cut anywhere, plush lining, plus, to my eye, they are super cute. Win win win!

I was visiting a friend in Ohio and saw these on a woman at a coffee shop. I actually asked her what they were and ordered them the next day. My first Tevas! I was a little worried about them rubbing, but I added some moleskin to the sides and that helped. I'm getting older and am chasing after two kids under 3 so I needed something that had good support and comfort for the summer. Great option.

Very comfortable and casual sandal. My one foot is wide after foot surgery but it still fits well. I ordered the wide.

I ordered these shoes about 2 months ago and have worn them almost every day since. I'm incorporating more walking throughout my day and wanted a comfortable but supportive shoe - this one hits the mark. Perfect. Thanks Zappos!

Perfect! Soft, supportive footbed and comfortable straps. Great look as well. I could have done without the bright pink velcro but other then that, perfect. I choose these over the Teva Terra-Float Livia Lux. The back strap on those were uncomfortable, they had areas where stitching overlapped and would rub.

I saw the shoes on someone I know and had to try them on then of course I purchased two pairs. Love, love the shoes.

My favorite birthday present to myself! I have a very well loved pair of Teva's but I wanted a somewhat stylish pair of sandals and I got the best of both worlds in these Teva's They are so comfortable, which is very important to me since I run and my feet need support. The leather and footbed are so soft on my skin. And, they don't scream- comfort sandal. I've had many complements on them. So happy Teva went out of the box this year and made this stylish yet comfortable sandal!

I love the style of these shoes so much that I have 3 different pair! I have two that are leather and one a canvas. They are pure comfort and don't bind the feet in any way. Because the strap over the top of the foot is adjustable Velcro, they can be adjusted to your own preference. They are wonderful with no "breaking in" time needed. I love this shoe!

Yes! This shoe is exactly what I was looking for. I just got these today. They sole is very flexible. Like walking on clouds with nice support. (The Teva originals are too firm for me and so are classic Birkenstocks) The straps are leather. They aren't as soft as the sole. They seem like they are sturdy and will stand up to long wear. They hold your foot nicely on the sole. They seem to be a true medium width with good amount of space around the toes. Possibly slight breaking in needed while the leather forms to the foot but I doubt it and no rubbing right now. I am a size 5.5 in sneakers. Usually size up to a size 6 in most boots. And most sandals I wear a size 5 (which is very hard to find size 5 sandals) so I don't have that many pairs! I bought the 5 and they fit great. The black offers a nice simple versatile look that I am hoping will wear well and be great for both camping/beaches and running around town/travel.

Bed is really comfy, the overall look is pretty stylish, but where the ankle strap meets the foot bed rubs my arch I think a long day on these are going to give me pretty horrible blisters.

I really liked this shoe, and was sad to have to return it. It didn't work for me for though, because a) the strap over the toes is not adjustable and was not quite the right size; b) the ankle strap was set in a strange place at the instep/arch of my foot and rubbed as soon as I put it on - I could picture the horrible blisters to come; and c) the velcro strap around the ankle did not allow for the height of my instep and the circumference of my ankle. By this I mean, once I fastened it around my ankle, there was less than an inch of overlap between the hook side of the velcro and the soft side of the velcro. I didn't have any confidence that it would stay put all day. I think this shoe is fine for people with more typically shaped feet. I have slightly wide feet, though not so wide that I can't wear standard width shoes, and I have a very high instep. The styling of this shoe was very nice, with smooth leather that made it appropriate for dressier occasions. I wish the sole was all black too.

I loved the concept of this shoe - comfortable sole and fashionable, simple straps with clean lines - but the straps didn't work. They hit my arch in an odd place and were too loose around my ankle. I have a wide, size 10 foot. I sadly returned these.

Purchased these shoes and wanted to love them, however, they are too wide for my foot!! There is no way to cinch the width to tighten. This applies to the ankle strap as well. I've tried wearing them, only to have the leather (which is soft) stretch even more. Now I have a new shoe, with low mileage, that's not wearable.

These sandals are really cute and I think they could have been really comfortable except the where the strap attaches to the sole on the left shoe rubbed my foot under the arch of my foot. I thought about wearing them to see if it would "break In" and become more relaxed there, but at the price of these shoes, I was afraid I would end up with expensive shoes I couldn't wear.

I was hoping to find something moderately stylish and comfortable for summer travels, and this is my first time trying Teva now that they have more stylish sandals. Sadly they're going back. I ordered nude in my width (B) but they turned out to be a bit tight at the front, while the other strap rubs against my heel in a rather uncomfortable way. You may want to size up if you normally wear W. I also have to agree with the other reviewer regarding their orthopedic look. They made my feet appear wide and flat, almost granny-styled. They're just not comfortable enough for me to look past their appearance or price.
