Love the fabric, but less keen on the color selections available.
Prana (like Patagonia) seems to design for more willowy people - folks who fit Levis 501s with a slimmer fit, but both of us have always preferred a more relaxed fit (think Levis 560s).
We picked out the Zion pants that most resembled the more relaxed fit and double-checked measurements, but even so, they are more slim cut than we'd normally choose. They are okay for day-to-day wear but feel a bit confining when more movement is needed.
I have occasionally hit gold with Prana products (their yoga gear tends to be more accommodating) and I love the concepts of their designs and quality of what they produce, but often struggle with implementation and body fit. The Zion pants are in line with my experience with their products overall.

Works but has a weird fitment. It's tight in the wrong places and not very comfortable.

I bought the same pants a year ago and loved them and wanted a new color. But when they arrived, I realized that the new ones are way baggier-- they feel very 10-15 years ago style wise. I liked the older, slimmer ones that could double almost as regular pants. But these were way too baggy and I returned them.

My husband got a pair of these (34 x 34) last summer (2015) for hiking and still wears them quite a bit. When we saw they were available in a 36 inch inseam this year we jumped on ordering them since the 34s are a tad too short for him. Unfortunately, while the length is great, this year's version seems to be cut slimmer and they are just too tight in the thigh area. Sadly, they are going back and the search continues for longer hiking pants.

First, shoving 35/32 pants into a 35/34 bag is just bad form at QC. With the little tightening strap, I thought my normal 34 may be more comfy at 35. Either there's a “child 35”, all of my other pants are vanity-sized, or there is a some trend for using the least amount of fabric possible. Be your skinniest, these run suh-maaaall.
