Customer Reviews Mizuno 9-Spike® Advanced Erupt 3 Low

I've had these cleats for about a month, wearing them a couple of times per week for baseball. I bought them because I liked the look, i prefer low cut, and I trust the Mizuno brand. Pros: - They have excellent grip on just about every type of surface. - They are durable and holding up well. I like the toe stitching. - They did well in the rain. They aren't waterproof, but they kept my feet fairly dry. - They are comfortable, even when worn all day at a tournament. Cons: - They are small. I bought a half size bigger than any shoes I've ever worn. - They are narrow. I wish they came in a wide size. It took a bit for the synthetic leather to stretch, and I still need to keep the laces fairly loose. - Lots of debris gets stuck in the spikes. It hasn't been a problem, but it's slightly annoying. - The black synthetic leather dirties easily, dust seems to cling to it. Overall, I think they were a good purchase and I'd buy them again. I hope future versions of the Erupt and Franchise models have more black and less white on the uppers.

Best all around baseball shoe. I was able to get a pair small enough for 12u ball player. No slipping, no sliding, infield, outfield, base running, portable pitching mounds, natural or artificial turf. They're the best, you or your kid will love them too.

Purchased new turf shoes for fall softball. I have wide feet and brought size 12 but I usually wear 11's. Still a bit tight but will wear them once they're broken in.

Waterproof and solid. No planned obsolescence like in the mesh shoes of today. They run about 1/2 size small.
