I couldn't get a real good feel for these since they were extremely narrow. I've read reviews stating that they have a wider toe box than a normal running shoe but this is not the case for me. footbed felt comfortable but just too narrow to try for longer than 5 min.

I had high hopes for these shoes, and I wanted to love them because they appear well made and they fit SO well. Unfortunately, they did not provide the stability and support that I need, despite being billed as On's neutral-to-moderate-overpronator shoe. The sole curves inward under the arch, so there was little to support my custom orthotic; my foot rolled inwards even with the orthotics. If you have a truly neutral or under-pronating foot and want a light running shoe with good, but not excessive cushioning, this would be a great choice.

I really loved the look of this shoe and wanted to make them work, but just could not. The small loops in front of toe box where the strings loop through have a very rigid under side. When walking and the toe box would flex, that ridged portion of shoe would press down on my big and pinky toe bones respectively and was very uncomfortable. Also, on the right shoe, there was something poking me in the back of my heel, I couldn’t feel anything out of the ordinary inside the shoe, but felt it while walking. The midsection of the shoe was very comfortable and I thought it may have been the size, but tried three different sizes and all displayed same two issues. I own three other pairs of On’s that I love, just could not make these work.

Did not work out for me. The (left foot) kept rubbing against my outside ankle and the wide gap’s in the sole kept catching the rocks from my neighborhood.

I am a woman with wide feet. I have been buying Brooks Glycerin and they have worked pretty well, but they narrowed the heel, so the newer models aren't as supportive for pronation. I loved how the women's cloud flyer felt as far as the cushioning and support for pronation, but they were too narrow. I normally wear a size 9 in Brooks and tried a size 9 in On Cloudflyer women's, but they were too tight across my instep and too narrow. I tried a 9.5 womens and they rubbed my toe and were still a little narrow. I tried these men's in a size 8 and they were too big, but the size 7 men's was too tight and too narrow. I want to love these shoes, but they are too narrow for me.

2 Things I did not like about the Cloudflyer. I was give the opportunity to try the running shoes by Zappos for a few weeks. One major annoying issue is that the thread ( sole ) collects rocks or stones constantly every time I wore them outside. I only used them on sidewalks or the street not on a trail. Also I found the the cushioning underneath the ball of my foot was not adequate. I am back wearing HOKA. Zappos made it a breeze helping me with my return of the CloudFlyers.
I'd also recommend:

Fits great. Sneaker itself just doesn’t last. So sad Bc it’s so expensive.

Owned and still wear the previous incarnation of this shoe. When I ordered them, I was disappointed. It does not feel like the same shoe. I even double checked the size both my previous size and of this shoe and then even went back in my order history to make sure I was comparing apples to apples. The toe box feels shorter and narrower. I loved the previous ones and am trying to figure out what to do next.

These shoes were advertised by On as "stability shoes" but they were very neutral, compared to other high end brands of stability shoes (NB, Brooks, etc). Although comfortably, they are not really a stability shoe at all.Just another trendy stylish sneaker :(

Bought these to replace pair that were worn out. My husband liked them for running. However, this pair came in mis-matched widths. Returning them.

These shoes have never felt quite right. The arch of the right side has a slight defect that isn't present on the left and makes the shoe feel odd when just being worn casually to walk around or exercise in the gym. The toes of both shoes buckled or crumbled in on the inside tip which causes the buckled fabric region to constantly brush against the big toe and this can become very uncomfortable during short- to mid-distance (3-6mi) runs. Finally, I've noticed a pain in my right heel which feels like a heavy bruising, though I believe it to be a planar fasciitis flare up (possibly related to odd deformity in the arch region mentioned earlier).
Very disappointed in this shoe.

Absolutely horrible shoes... I'm not new to running... I've ran 13 Marathons... 10 Triathlons, 2 Ironman 70.3.... These.... By far are the worst shoes... They hurt my feet a lot.... Created multiple blisters.... I never have blisters. Ne-Ver.... Would never buy that brand again, nor would I recommend.... Back to Asics for me.

Tried very hard to love these shoes. Out of the box, styling was great. Fit and comfort however left a lot to be desired. Others have commented about a poor outside wear pattern for these right where your pinky toe sits. For me, this was a bad friction spot on both shoes. Really makes them very uncomfortable to wear.
Also, I can honestly say this is the first pair of shoes I’ve bought where I assumed there was some kind of break-in period. After trying to stretch these out and a few runs that resulted in terrible blisters I’ve given up.
I’ve got Books that are way more comfortable and provide much better support. I should have stuck with a traditional shoe instead of the marketing hype on the “clouds”. Disappointed.

Felt great whenever I first purchased them. I bought them December 28 2017 and they began to lose their support February 2018. Now being April they cause extreme overpronation. This is unacceptable seeing that I only run 2-3 miles a day.
