I love this hat. I have a freakishly small head though and the L/XL fits perfectly, so if you have a big head this may not fit you very well.

The hat size is not sized very consistent. Some hats may be larger than others. Luckily for me i had two to choose from and i choose the smaller of the same L/XL . I find most hats to be slightly different from hat to hat.

This is actually my second boonie hat. I have one of these in black and was looking for one in a navy blue. This is a good pack away hat for the pool, beach or just out for a friendly walk and a great alternative to the straw lifeguard hats which I also own.

Sizing is right on. My L/XL fit great. I wear a 7 1/4 in fitted hats and it seemed like I was right in the L/XL range.

I bought this for my husband, he hates sunscreen and burns rather easily. This hat does a very nice job of blocking the sun on his face and neck. The brim is the right size. The hat has no ventilation which leads to the comment from him that it was a little hot, but he still wears it when he is out in the sun for prolonged periods of time. Overall, it is a great hat and does the job it was designed to do!

Bought this hat for my husband who was looking for a replacement. The hat itself is great - perfect structure, nice styling, brim not too big and floppy or too small, lightweight. But the logo was the killer. I thought once I received it I could remove the stitching to take it off, but it's additionally glued to the hat. Bummer. He hates visible logos so I returned it which is a shame as the hat was perfect otherwise.
